Does not securely fit seat of bedside commode. Prevents closure of lid. Makes emptying difficult. Not really good for elderly with balance problems.

I was diagnosed with cancer in 2023. Due to the cancer & chemo it caused me to lose 23 lbs & skin breakdown which caused 4 pressure sores. I was afraid of tearing open the sores when I went to the bathroom & developing more. So I put a commode frame over my toilet and one of these on top of it.I believe it’s helped me to heal my pressure sores & prevented anymore from developing. It’s soft any very comfortable. I would recommend one of these for anyone that’s a paraplegic like myself or an elderly person.I would have given it 5 stars but I think it should have 4 straps on the underside to secure it instead of 2 because it can shift a bit. Plus it rips a bit along the seams so has to be re-sewn or replaced. I will probably be using this the rest of my life. I even took it on a road trip with me and it worked out great on the toilet. Although I bought a different brand of this.

After thighplasty it was impossible to sit on the toilet for me. I tried makeshift foam pad cut outs, but still had issues and finally went on an online hunt and found this item. Easy to wipe off and keep sanitary, could actually use some thicker padding, (could add more if you wanted) but at least made sitting possible!
