These bread bags may be my answer to having a neater and more appealing kitchen countertop as well as keeping my bread edible for a long time. There seems to be random loaves of bread constantly situated on the countertop in clear plastic bread bags; it's not an attractive sight. And oftentimes I peer into the bags to find the random bagel or slice of bread with little green specks of mold. Ugh. In addition, I getting ready to keep sourdough starter which hopefully results in many happy loaves of sourdough bread. If I am going to do that much work for a loaf of bread, I am going to my best to keep it fresh for as long as possible. These bags arrived in the nick of time.Beeswax bread bags are well known to help keep bread from drying out or getting moldy due to the anti-microbial properties of beeswax so along with the cotton fabric, the bags are breathable providing the bread loaves with a better storage environment than plastic bags. And are sustainable, always a great thing. The bags are well constructed (very well sewn), the amount of beeswax used seems to be the right amount (beeswax coating is smooth and doesn't crinkle or crack) and are large enough to hold very large loaves. Each bag is equipped with 2 straps with quick side release buckles to keep the bag closed while in use. The bags are easy care; quick care instructions are clearly featured on the back of the box. These bags are for my own use, but I think these bags would a great way to gift loaves of bread to friends, give them a chance to get to know the deliciousness of your homemade bread and a sustainable way to keep their own loaves of bread.

Keeps bread fresh for days. Great size too. Fits a large loaf from an 8x8 pan.

These bread bags are a great size for pretty much any baked good. I have used them for muffins (there are a dozen in the bag as pictured), as well as homemade bread and leftover dinner rolls. The bags are big enough for an entire loaf of artisan bread, or anything baked in a loaf pan. They are more breathable than plastic bags, and I have found that homemade baked goods don't mold as quickly in this bag. The bag itself is a nice thick cotton fabric that has been coated on the inside with beeswax. It's pretty easy to clean, too - just shake it out, or if there are some stubborn crumbs, turn the whole thing inside out and wipe gently with a cool, damp cloth, then let it dry before using again. There aren't any instructions that come in the pack of two, but as you can see in the picture, the end folds over (to create a sort of seal) and then the two straps at the end fold over and buckle together. You can either fold the top of the bag under, and buckle on top, or fold the top up, and buckle under. It's pretty straightforward. I wish that closing it up didn't hide part of the printed pattern, but no matter which way you fold it, some of the pattern is gone. If I were designing this, I would make it so that the pattern only covered the half of the bag that will show when it is in use.I love that I'm not getting out another plastic bag every time I bake bread for my family, and I love that when this does eventually wear out (in maybe a few decades), it is made of natural elements that will break down without damaging the environment!

My wife makes homemade sourdough bread and when she’s done she normally puts them in these plastic and paper bags that are kind of generic like you would get at the grocery store. Those paper ones are kind of cheap and tear easy and they’re not nice to look at.However, these fabric and wax bags look really good sitting on the counter. They keep the bread fresh, although I can’t tell you how long the bread would stay fresh in there because we tend to eat the bread pretty fast in my house. Usually in 2-3 days an entire loaf would be gone. These are very clean looking, they do the exact same job as the other bags do, but are very stylish, and looks really good on the counter.Probably the easiest way to describe it is it makes your bread look very “upscale and artisan”, and would probably look very nice if you had bread sitting out on a table in some manner of display but still wanted it to stay fresh. My wife really liked these bags.

These are nice and big and keep the bread fresh. Prior to having these I tossed a lot of bread because it dried out so much that it was a brick. Now my loaves stay soft and fresh.

Cotton bag with a beeswax liner is a great way to store bread! It keeps it fresh for a long time due to breathing enough to keep some moisture able to evaporate, but not enough to dry it out. It's easy to use and nice that you can adjust how much you roll it up based on the size of the bread to help minimize the air exposure. Also easy to fold and store when not in use and easy to clean. It seems of good quality, the cotton is nice and the stitching is well done. The strips are sewn on nicely and the clips work well. Great to have if you like to keep bread around!

These are nice reusable bags. I like the size and that I can use it to keep most baked goods fresh. They open and close easy enough and clean up nicely which was a concern when I ordered them
