This is a very nice, tough and comfortable jacket. The sturdy duck fabric is strong and waterproof, and great in the wind. I stay warm and cozy. The color and plaid lining, as well as the nice fit make it feminine too. So many barn coats are baggy and bland. This one is great.

Happy with this purchase. Comfortable, blocks the wind, durable, and covers rear. Fits over my bibs easily and I can move without feeling too bulky. I have been wearing this for calving, liking the multiple pockets for when I need to carry my note pad and extra gloves. Might buy one for daily use not for farm work.

This is the warmest, comfortable jacket I have ever had! The sticking is flawless. Pockets everywhere! Love how the back panel goes down over your backside. The arms are plenty long enough. The flannel lining is very soft. The hood is just right. Even the pockets are comfortable!! Absolutely love this jacket!!!

Sleeves WAY too longZipper broke on arrival I couldn’t remove the hoo due to a separation in zipper at the end of it. Unable to get zipper to work.Material is fabulousCan tell it’s gonna hold hair but to comfy with flannel inside and pockets I must have!Sadly it’s going back.

This is a great coat, it’s clear things were well thought out like pockets and gusset around arm pits and shoulders to allow movement. However, tried two sizes and the sleeves are very long, even rolled up, and the chest is surprisingly tight. I don’t have a large chest and both sizes were pretty “flattening,” and made it tighter if putting your arms back to reach for pants pocket, etc. There is also a dart at the top of the shoulders that almost pulls down or puts pressure on your shoulders but you get used to it. With all that said. The benefits far outweigh those things. And Berne has a great return policy, even when ordering directly. I haven’t had the chance to wear it in extremely cold temperatures yet, hoping it will be warm like the leading competing brand. It’s definitely less stiff than those coats!

I work outside in all types of weather, so I wanted a really good, sturdy jacket to have for the winter. I finally settled this one, and I have been wearing it all winter long and loving it!It's nice and thick with enough room to wear extra layers of clothes (I like to wear a hoodie underneath, and it fits comfortably still).Lots of pockets everywhere you could need a pocket. I have long arms, and the sleeves are long enough and can fold up too if they are too long for you. Cute plaid pattern on the inside, so if you do fold them up, it looks nice.I and 5'9, 125lbs and usually wear a small but got a medium after reading some reviews that made me think I should maybe size up. The medium was a little too bulky and too much material, so I exchanged for a small, and the small has been perfect.
