It has worked quite nicely for me on some easy pulls (pulleys on fractional hp electric motors).Will be interested to see what happens on something rusty and automotive.I've never had much luck with 'appropriately sized' pullers in those situations.Very nice design with the ratcheting arms. A nice compromise between the floppy ones that need three hands and a rubber band to set up, and the heavy duty posi-lock style ( which I think Bestool also makes).It doesn't matter much on a bench, but boy does it make life easier on parts you can barely reach.Really like the tool free conversion between 3-jaw and 2-jaw too.Low profile feet are pretty wide but while I've had places the low profile helps I don't think I've ever encountered a situation where the wider feet are actually a problem.
