I use this in my small bathroom as a shower seat or seat to use in front of the sink. I’m often doing my personal care when I’m exhausted at the end of the day or early morning and it’s nice to sit down while I brush my teeth or wash my hair. I broke my ankle very badly a few years ago and it swells after a long day of standing and walking, so sitting down if I can is the way to go. This chair doesn’t appear medical at all and has a smaller footprint than the “proper” shower chair I used when my ankle was healing post op. Love it

Thank goodness I didn’t have to buy and look at one of those ugly hospital looking devices to sit on.Love the look, color and size and functionality. Color me happy 😃

This chair was purchased for use in the shower. Not for use as a chair, but more as a stool to lift leg when needed. I am writing this review many many months after use. The product has lasted. Definitely worthy of four stars. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that you must rinse often to keep it clean. The product definitely holds weight when needed, and does not collect mold for being in a damp shower. Works great for shaving legs, and more. Would recommend.

I have had several shower seats over time and this by far is my favorite as it not have that “medical/hospital” appearance. It looks great in my walk in shower and not an eyesore! Some women use it as a foot rest for shaving. It also doubles as a ledge for shampoo for others. I love the modern small and sleek style while also being sturdy too!

Always good to have the stool in case you want a long shower. Easy to assemble and keeps very clean.

I have a small glass enclosed shower and this fits perfectly and matches well. It may be too small for some folks if you are using it to sit. Check the measurements before you buy. I've had some health issues which makes it difficult for me to stand sometimes. This is great for me and doesn't take up too much room if my husband (or others) use the shower. It's sturdy, looks nice, has drainage holes, and so far - no rust or degrading from our hardwater. I thought it was a little pricey when I first bought it, but it is really well made. The only negative was the protective plastic on the legs. It was hard to remove as it was screwed into the base. Some of it remains, but you can't see it. It's hidden by the seat. Overall, I recommend this product.

Like many women, I've experienced fatigue, morning sickness, and feeling very close to fainting during my pregnancy. In my first trimester, I was so tired and nauseous that I started sitting down on the floor of the shower every morning just to get through washing my hair, etc. My husband was worried I would slip getting up and down in the shower doing this and insisted I get some kind of shower seat. Initially I was looking at the compact 3 legged version of this stool, but luckily the pan of our tub/shower combo is oval shaped and wider than average in the middle and could easily fit this 4 legged version with a more comfortable seat. It felt like such an indulgence at the time, but it's been life changing and I will tell my friends as they have their first pregnancies just to get a shower seat if they have severe fatigue and/or morning sickness. I don't get lightheaded standing in the shower and the few times I've unfortunately found myself throwing up while in the shower, it was a relief to at least feel stable. It is lightweight, super easy to assemble, and doesn't look like a medical device, which I appreciate. I think I'll be as happy to have it at the end of my pregnancy as I was at the beginning.Edit: coming back to say this was still one of the best purchases I made last year. Just have to be sure to clean the feet of the stool really well! Since I initially reviewed this, I've been diagnosed with POTS (partially explains why I felt so awful during pregnancy...) and since it was triggered by pregnancy I've been still dealing with it postpartum, and probably will be for a long time, so this shower stool is even more indispensable! I no longer feel embarrassed about needing a shower seat in my 20s haha. Just get it.

1st use July 28, 2020. Worked well. Very easy to assemble. Fairly easy to disassemble.Because some of the reviews indicated that they did not like the fact that the product could not be disassembled, I included photos that are time stamped. You can see the product fully assembled at 9:45 a.m. and disassembled at 9:48 a.m. To disassemble just press and hold the button on the inside of the leg. Disassembly was easiest with the shower chair upside down on a hard flat surface and weighted down (I used my foot). I found it easier to remove the legs when I used an object such as the rounded end of a stylus or non-writing end of a pen. I had to apply some, but not a great deal of force. Remember to continue pressing the button until the leg becomes disengaged. Even if you plan on using this for daily use I recommend periodically removing the legs to give the upper part of the legs a thorough cleaning.I have found the stool sturdy and have not encountered any slippage or instability. The information states that it can be used for weight up to 300 lbs though mine has only been used for weights under 150 lbs.I was initially somewhat uncertain as to whether this would fit in my tub, however it is a perfect fit. This worked out so well that I bought another for a relative. I also appreciate that it can be disassembled for storage or for a thorough cleaning. I have not observed any rust, mold, or mildew.Based on my experience I would recommend this product to others.

I recently moved to a new house, and my shower doesn't have any kind of built-in step that I can use to shave my legs, which is really annoying for me. This stool is great. It's light, sturdy, inexpensive, and goes well with the colors of my bathroom/shower.

This is small and while secure, feels very unsteady. Also, because it's plastic with holes in the center, you kind of stick to it in the shower. The only reason we got this one was because we needed something small for the shower. But it does the job.
