Hardheaded Ram was created by an avid cyclist who realized that people spend thousands of dollars on a bike, and then end up skimping on the most important part of their bike by installing cheap unbranded brake pads. We’re here to solve that by providing quality brake pads for all types of bikes and riding styles. After months of research and testing, we have partnered with a respectable company in Taiwan that specializes in manufacturing brake pads, including for many brand name products. The rotors we carry are also manufactured in the same factory as the brake pads, so you can expect both our brake pads and rotors to work well with each other. All of our products will fit perfectly with brake systems of all brands, including: Avid, Campagnolo, Formula, Hayes, Hope, Magura, Shimano, Sram, Tektro, and more.

The Hardheaded Ram Difference

  1. We use ceramic fiber in all of our pads, so that they perform better under high temperatures.
  2. Our pads include copper fiber—instead of cheaper steel fiber—for better wear resistance and thermal conductivity.

If tried to sand them down, scuff the rotor, clean everything. No matter what I do they are the noisiest pads I've ever used

I like these pads. Not as grippy as some so precise modulation before skid is facilitated, but with four-pistol Hope brakes, there is still plenty of stopping power available when needed. I wish that they came with new retainer pins and clips though like some other brands do.
