Fantastic upgraded pads to use with the Blix Packa Genie. The bike is large, weighing about 85 lbs on its own, and when loaded with cargo (adult, two children, two backpacks) will easily top 400lbs in total weight. These pads will bring the bike to a safe stop from 20-25mph without squealing--even in the wet. Our school run includes 15-20% grades and these are the only pads I trust to safely stop. There are cheaper pads, but they would never last more than 150-200 miles for us. These will easily go 700-800 miles (still having some material left) before I just swap them out.

I like these brake pads. Use them daily, they are maintenance free, long lasting (if adjusted properly) and never squeal in my bike. Very effective stops.

Just got them today. These are OEM from HAYES. The packaging is from HAYES. Dont mess around. Get these OEM brake pads.My original brake pads were used for nearly 10 years! And they were still good! I ride hard and I'm heavy. This is the first time I'm changing the brake pads.I'm glad I got OEM. I know they can last me another 10 years or so. I just installed the new ones so I dont have a picture.** The pictures are the old brakes**The new ones are clean and way thicker.You can see there is still a lot of meat on the original ones given they lasted me nearly ten years!I would pay the price for the OEM. Because I know they've lasted and worked well.

This is my first change-out of bicycle brake pads, and - worse yet - the failure of a pad happened during one of the last test-rides (perhaps THE last test ride) of one of the bikes before a cycling vacation in a few days. I didn't want to have to guess with another company's pads, and it was really only important that I had some semblance of a front brake for this trip.Fast shipping via Amazon saved the vacation plans, and a great video by "theoverengineer" over on YT showed how to replace them on Hayes calipers.

Fair price, OEM sealed break pads and fit like a charm with no problems at all. Nicely detailed instructions and readily available manufacturer help for any who need it and shipping was reasonably fast. Will buy again from this vendor.

The pads were easy to install and work well. The only thing I don't like is that when on long down hill runs, the can start squealing after a while when they get hot.
