I have this e-bike and e-bikes are slower than most of the other traffic on the road so you are forced to ride the edge of the pavement which sometimes has dropoffs and dropoffs can wreck you badly if you are not paying attention to where your front tire is you can't just to look to see what is passing you --My handlebars are only as wide as my body and my body blocks the rearview of the Conventional rearview mirrors. The Homieway handlebar end Mirror was the perfect solution to my problem I can now see at a glance what is behind me without taking my attention off of what is in front of me and I love the way they look and they were an easy install it works great"

I installed this mirror on my ebike in less than five minutes. You remove the grip's end button, insert the mirror into the handlebar hole, and tighten a bolt until it's firm. The mirror didn't move at all when I took it out for a test ride. Optical clarity is very good because the mirror is made of glass instead of plastic.I like the shape of this mirror because you can see a lot. I much prefer it to the round mirrors which this style of mirror typically use. There's one negative thing I should point out. The black plastic edges of the mirror don't come up far enough, so you can see the exposed edge of the mirror glass. At certain angles there's a glare (in my case at the bottom of the mirror), which is pretty distracting when you're riding, and even moreso when you're looking at the mirror. There are basically two types of bike mirrors: ones like this one that insert into the handlebar grip, and another type that clamps onto the handlebar itself. Having used both types, I prefer the kind that clamps onto the handlebar. For one thing, some bikes/ebikes (including the bike I planned to install this mirror on) don't have removable grip plugs, so you'll have to cut a hole yourself. But if you know you want this type of mirror that fits into the end of your handlebar grip, this could be the mirror for you. Installation is easy (provide you don't have to make your own hole), the size and clarity are good, and there's no wobble. Just do keep in mind that glare from the edges. If you take a close look at my photos you'll see what I mean.

The handlebar Bike Mirror by Homieway came the other day. I now have 5 bikes - more than I "need" but not than I necessarily "want". I should sell 1 or more. But to do so, I have to discover which bikes best fit my life and my hobby, and which don't. To do that, and do it safely and easier, I must have a mirror installed. - And unlike lights, a mirror installation can be quite involved - depending on the type, as a handlebar mirror may require one to take off or adjust a grip, brake lever, shifter lever, horn or bell, front basket, etc. Each one of those may have a different sized hex wrench, and once removed to install a mirror, have to be put back on, to then possibly discover which items work together and which don't. Sometimes a mirror will go into the handlebar end, other times it'll clamp onto the handlebars, and I always like parts that have the potential to work on 1 or more of my bikes. My point is, having a lot of parts to choose from is great, but it can be a lot of work, and sometimes a part will not come w/ installation instructions, and other times they will, but I misplace them before I can install the part. So, it's best to try to plan your bike fixes, upgrades, and adjustments. Having multiple bikes to try a part on also can result in, an upgrade for 1 bike, can "free up" a part to be used on another bike. The Homieway bike mirror is the type that mounts into the end of the handlebars, and unless I wanted to cut off the end of my closed grip ends, it was best to first try it on my bike that already had an open handlebar end. That was my Diamondback Sport Response 26-inch, but this mirror, while it can go in different sized handlebars, unlike other models, it required me to use a different sized handlebar end plugs, consisting of 4 pieces. I had never changed these parts to go on a different bike, and wasn't sure how to do it. If I recall, I loosened the screw at the end that goes into the handlebar, and inserted it, and after a couple twists, or turns, that bolt came off inside my handlebars! So I had to remove all the parts, and turn the bike on its side, to recover that bolt and try again. Then I learned that I had to replace all the components that go into the handlebars, to use it on my Diamondback, removing the 2 black rubber bands. I got this installed, and because it goes into the handlebar end, it sticks out far enough for my view of traffic is not hampered by where my shoulder is.

The description of this mirror is that the curvature is flat. It is in fact convex, making it difficult to judge how far behind you cars are, which is the most important function of a bike mirror.

I installed these on my EBikes. I want to be able to see what is behind or beside me when I'm riding my EBike. Love them, would buy again!
