Our bike rack is a lightweight bike rack very suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Outdoors you can mount it on the ground (we provide you with the screws when you need to mount it). Indoors our rack is small and sturdy, you do not need to lean the bike against the wall and worry that it will fall down.

Wanted to use this product for my husband's bike for in the garage. Is very light weight and compact in size which in this case was not beneficial. This will work great if mounted to the floor or wall but not freestanding on its own. To small and lightweight and cannot keep upright even a lightweight adult bike. Materials seem strong, it's just the size. Would not purchase unless you plan to mount it for stability.

There are several holes on the bike stand so you can mount the U or V shaped metal thing to your desired width. The most narrow one is too narrow and did not fit my tires. The next position allowed me to get my tire in place, but there was too much slack and caused my bike to tilt side ways. I realized this morning what held my bike in place was the rear derailer. Basically, the metal frame on the bike stand was sitting between my tire and the rear derailer. I can't use this on my front tire because it still causes the bike to tilt and it tilts enough to not hold the bike up. My tires are 2.6". I think if your tires fit perfectly, then this bike stand will work. For me, there was too much space causing the bike to tilt too much. I just lean it up against the wall now.

I bikes with skinny tires and big fat tires, this rack allow me to adjust to the width of the tires easily. The rack is wide enough to provide stable platform to store my bikes.
