We bought a kids bike trailer which comes with one of these attachments for your bike. I quickly grew tired of swapping it each time we wanted to tow from the other bike. With 2 we can now leave them permanently installed and not have to remove anything.

Our InStep trailer came with just one hitch. However, we like to both have the option to haul the kids on our own bikes. This was exactly like our OEM hitch, fits perfect and is made entirely of metal. I feel comfortable going long distances with the trailer on this hitch.
