I have used several of these in off-grid power applications. They work well and are easily installed. I used a 3 and 5/8 inch hole saw to make the holes with the reverse mount option.

These work and look very good. They’re easy to set up and are very good value for the money. They are not durable the switch functions good for a while, but they eventually break I have been through multiple. Having a battery switch, preserves the battery life and is necessary.

Didn't realize it doesn't come with mounting hardware.It does have plenty of room inside for multiple 4 gauge wires I give it 5 stars regardless of no mounting hardware.

Product was purchased to take the place of a Perko Brand that was hard to turn. It worked perfect, fit in the same space and much easier to turn the knob.

Liked ease of installation and the overall size.Added a second battery to my mule, needed switch to separate the batteries, has a winch and electric lift on a plow, rake and blade.Now has enough battery power.Great product!L. Jinks

Well made and solid. Very happy. Just make sure you connect the right leads to the correct terminals on the back to avoid a fair bit of confused head scratching… It’s obvious and well labeled so just blame user error…

Using for a single battery now but may add a 2nd later. Knob movement is very smooth and feels like it will last a very long time.

First thing I did when I bought a boat is install a second battery because a dead battery on the water is both likely, and extremely problematic. Or worse.If you've shopped for marine battery switches you've seen the "other" brand. The big round, surface-mounted one. Then you see this one and think, "it's just so small" or "how does it mount to my boat?"I took the leap of faith and couldn't be more pleased with the results.My first consideration was accessibility. I didn't want the switch to be buried inside a compartment that would make access difficult while on the water. That way I could easily switch between batteries when we're fishing, using the downriggers and playing music, and back to when we're running the main engine. The smaller size and flush-mounting capability of the Blue Sea switch were definite advantages in that regard.My other consideration was the power handling capacity of the switch, especially because of its smaller size. A quick look at the published specs shows continuous, intermittent and cranking ratings of 350A, 600A, and 2,000A respectively. Way more than needed for my application. Another bonus is the "make before break" design that keeps all of my electronics alive as I switch between batteries. I never switch with the main engine running.I invested another 10 bucks in a hole saw and drilled a hole in the battery compartment facing the cockpit, then installed the switch flush to the carpeted front face. Bolted it in with new stainless hardware, terminated the batteries and not only is it functional, but it also looks great. No telling about long-term reliability at this point, but I'm glad I opted for the built-in look and accessibility of this switch.

Installé sur le parc de batteries de service d'un voilier. Fonctionne très bien, semble robuste.Nous avons installé le bouton pour une usage différent ce celui prévu à l'origine : permettre d'alimenter le bateau soit uniquement sur son chargeur de qui (1), soit sur ses batteries (2), soit sur les deux (1+2). Ce montage permet de déconnexion le chargeur en navigation (le chargeur a une micro-consommation qui peut devenir importante dans la durée). Au port, ce montage permet de déconnecter les batteries en alimentant directement le bateau sur le port. Ainsi les batteries ne subissent plus de micro cycles charge / décharge à chaque fois qu'un consommateur est utilisé (pompe, frigo, etc) et elles sont préservées.Pour le perçage il faut faire un trou de 92mm et rentrer le bouton en force (le bouton a un diamètre de 92,1mm). Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Prodotto eccellente. Non monterò mai più quelle porcherie che si trovano comunemente nei cataloghi nautici ad un prezzo simile. Questo è un altra pasta proprio. Premetto di essere un elettricista e dunque conosco l'importanza di un buon contatto elettrico. Qui si parla di un oggetto in grado di sopportare davvero carichi importanti..e lo fa egregiamente. Soldi spesi davvero bene. Complimenti. Ho acquistato anche il modello più grosso per un applicazione più gravosa..e ancora applausi. Consiglio molto vivamente.
