The mat I used to have was barely large enough, so often times, the ladder would no longer be on the mat with kids going in and out, etc... Also, it had ridged surface that would get green algae, and I seemed to always be fighting algae growth in our above ground pool. NO MORE!! This mat is large enough with room to spare, so I never have to check to make sure it is under the steps! It stays in place. looks great, and NEVER has green algae, and therefore my pool finally is staying algae free! I love this mat!!

It’s constantly flipping up at the corners and won’t stay flat. It shifts around under the ladder, too. The quality is good but it just gets annoying.

Absolutely would recommend this mat! Its sturdy, fits under our pool ladder just like we wanted, stays in place and didn't lift when I vacuumed or made a whirlpool with the kids. You won't be disappointed!

Big under ladder mat to insure no rubbing or holes in that expensive liner. We’ve had a much smaller one and this is far superior in quality and size. Highly recommended!!

Since this is for protecting the pool it is nice that it is thick enough to feel confident that it is, in fact, protecting my pool liner.
