I am going to give this device two stars, because it does connect … eventually. But then it cuts in and out annoyingly while transmitting, clicking as it does, at least with my Sony wireless buds. I had another, more expensive transmitter, and it worked flawlessly until I left it on a plane. I had hoped this inexpensive substitute would suffice, but it’s not even close. I guess you get what you pay for. Steer clear.UPDATE: After returning this unit for replacement, I could not get my (nice) Sony ear pods to connect at all, BUT my wife’s cheap knock off AirPods connected instantly and functioned perfectly. I obtained another Bluetooth transmitter that worked well with my Sony wireless buds. For the money, I think this device is fine, IF it will connect to your earphones. I’m upgrading to 4 stars based on value.

I Love this thing. I have an older van with an aux port so when I got this it changed the entire feel of the vehicle. I was able to connect to Spotify without using a double sided aux cord. That was the difference between an amazing ride and a basic ride with my children. I recommend this to anyone and it is so easy to connect with Bluetooth. I was also able to play videos for the kiddos in the back and didn't have to worry about the cord falling out of the phone. Supee convenient, A++. Thank you!!!

I have an older car (which I love) and it does not have bluetooth connectivity for my phone. The little device solves that problem and allows me to play my ITunes off my phone in my car. The signal is great which basically means the sound is great and no lack. As I stated in the title it is a must have for me and I love it.

I could list so many uses for this, ESPECIALLY since this device doesn't just receive, but can also transmit. We work often with a DJ who has an older solid state mixer, and most of his open and accessible connections are RCA. With a small adapter, I can Bluetooth literally ANY Bluetooth device to paid and transmit to this, and thus, to his mixer.I am hearing impaired and wear assistive listening devices, some of which use Bluetooth, and some of which use 3.5mm TRSS jacks. This device can handle either application instantly. (Speaking of the TRSS 3.5mm, it bends, so there's almost nowhere you can't use this device and have it fit out of your way.)If I *HAD* to find anything negative, I'd be very hard pressed. The instructions are a little small and difficult to read, that's maybe the only negative whatsoever.

I only use these for transmitting to my Pixel Buds Pro 2. When I can get them paired, it works just fine. But I have a lot of trouble with pairing. Sometimes it pairs (as it should) in just a couple of seconds. Other times it won't pair at all (a minute later in the same room). The buds and transmitter just sit there flashing at each other for as long as I can stand to wait.Sometimes they will pair if I take them into another room. But not always. Sometimes they will pair if I let the transmitter "rest" (powered off) for a half hour or so. But not always. If other people don't have this problem, then I suspect that there is something squirrelly about the versions of Bluetooth being used or some other strange incompatibility. I have another transmitter (very inexpensive, from another company) and it always pairs to my buds within a couple of seconds.Since my use case is on an airplane, I can't afford for them not to pair when I need them.

I got this especially to use for traveling in planes. The 3.5mm jack plugs into airplane aux ports perfectly and transmits the sounds wirelessly so I can use my air pods/wireless headphones in planes with no Bluetooth connectivity. To pair, I held the power button until it starts blinking, while I have my headphones in pairing mode. This might take several tries depending on the headphones, but it always works. The sound quality is pretty good and I can't tell the difference between wired and wireless. What I like that most about this is that its very small, and I don't need additional cords since the plug is built-in. Also, it chargers via USB-C which is a huge plus.

I ordered this to transmit Bluetooth from a projector to a Bluetooth speaker for outdoor movie night. It worked immediately and also receives. So far I haven’t noticed any Bluetooth lag/ sound sync issues with the screen and audio. I did not know it has an internal battery for use without power, even better! I can’t wait to set up the screen.Great value, amazing product. I recommend for sure.

This is a second receiver/transmitter device I am reviewing. This one is incomparably better than the other comparably priced adapter. Here is why:- Excellent form factor -- it is very small, smaller than it appears in pictures.- Good strain relief design, very convenient to plug -- you can bend it out of the way as needed.- Internal battery, although small, allows using this device without extra cables. No need to find a USB port to plug it in.- Sound quality is acceptably good.- No pointless decorative blinking displays or unnecessary LEDs, it is all function.I am using this adapter to stream an instrument across the room. You can use two of these adapters -- one in RX mode and one in TX mode as a wireless audio cable.Downsides:- Not a major problem, but this adapter comes with a useless airline headphones connector. Those have not been used in mainstream planes in the US for years if not decades. I wish they instead included a 3.5mm TRS to 1/4" TRS adapter- Connecting to an audio sink (in TX mode) is finicky, especially if you have a few bluetooth speakers/headphones around. It took me a few times.
