Since my car does not have Bluetooth, I needed to find a Bluetooth adaptor to connect my phone to my car’s speaker system. The last Bluetooth I owned had good speaker sound, but when it came to the speakerphone, I was told the quality was so poor I was not understandable. I am very happy to say that my speakerphone connection is clear with this adapter.Conveniently, it has an answer/hang-up feature regarding calls. Some other features: volume control, forward and back controls which allow one to skip forward or back when listening to music and a pause feature. If you want to secure it somewhere on your dashboard or console, there is a peel-off backing for it to adhere to a surface.The charger can either plug into a cigarette lighter or a usb port. If using the cigarette lighter, it has two usb ports, one of which is for the adapter. The included AUX able is of good quality and provides a static-free connection.It pared to my iPhone easily, and in the few weeks I have used it has only dropped once and I had to restart my phone in order for the Bluetooth to re-connect. However, this is common with Bluetooth-connected devices and when my phone restarted it immediately found the adapter.The only potential downside for some may be this item’s size. It is almost 4” long. For this reason, I am giving it 4 Stars, but if there were a half rating I would give it 4-1/2 Stars as the sound quality is very good. I recommend this item.

Okay I love this thing!! I have a twenty year old car that does not do much these days right, but it has a aux in line and this thing makes me feel so newish lol. Works just as described and calls actually sound okay on this thing. I put it up by the wheel so the mic is close to me and people say the car noise is noticeable, but it is for me too! I have no complaints here as the thing i love is the music from my phone and the advance button is great to skip or pause!Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport.I would recommend this productI received this product for review. My impression overall of the vine program as since the sellers know we are free to leave our honest opinion, they believe in their products before putting them into the program!! It has been incredibly frustrating trying to find a device which adequately does the (rather simple) function of receiving bluetooth audio and outputting analog sound plus having a mic which goes to the bluetooth device. My car is old so it needs this and I need this also at my desk / computer / studio to take calls and/or hear music from phones when I'm there.This is the very best, by leaps and bounds, it has all the features I wished the others could've. Previously to this one it seemed that the price didn't matter, the best I'd found before was only $15 with the more expensive ones being inferior. This Soundoo product, however, is their more expensive version (only like $35, that's not so much) and woah does it feel like the luxury trim - it's got a beautiful LCD display which brightly tells you so much - the song that's playing, the bluetooth codec being used (for ppl w Apple devices who care about audio quality having it accept AAC is the only way to know its not degrading the sound. Idk how many of the others supported AAC because they didn't indicate but this one does and you don't even have to check in a menu, its always confirming the codec on-screen), it has a bluetooth icon for EACH of the two pairing slots, and moreover my friend could hear me talking through it! Compared to my earbuds he said this product did put out significantly lower volume (a tad disappointing) BUT he said that he could hear my voice very clearly and that I've never been able to achieve with the previous bluetooth adapters I've tested, whether they were meant only for car audio or not. In the car I mounted the mic right behind my steering wheel, and at my desk the mic is even closer to my mouth - about 2' with no obstructions, and still this product is the first bluetooth adapter I've used to talk on the phone and the other person says they can hear my voice clearly. That alone is the reason to buy this product, everything else is wonderful extras which I never expected but clearly am glad to have. And the buttons are big, chunky, wonderful, the device seems sturdy - I just love it. I don't know if it has the cool bass boost feature my previous favorite had but the audiophile recording engineer side of me prefers to have the devices NOT mess with my audio at all because even if they do bass the boost there's usually any number of other manipulations going on (unintentionally).My god, I just realized it has ANOTHER feature I've always hoped for. Most of these adapters come with the 1/8" minijack phone connector for analog audio built-in, a male jack protrudes, and this is best for most car setups, home stereo setups, etc because they have just the female port and it plugs right in. In my studio desk scenario where I connect it to my mixing board the mixing board doesn't have a minijack input (they're not used in professional audio) and so initially I thought I had to deal with the (justifiable) circumstance of having to use adapters to get it connected - now I see this product ALSO has an analog audio minijhack output (female) port on it!You really couldn't ask for more in a bluetooth adapter. I suppose the "more" I've seen in others I've tried is that some of them have a USB-A port and/or TF card slot so you could put digital audio files onto a thumb drive or TF card and it'd play them. That's nice but I think like most people buying a bluetooth adapter I'd never actually use the feature because my music is going to come from my phone or my friends' phones, ideally wirelessly over bluetooth and that's the objective of this type of product. I noticed this brand has a cheaper one and given the incredibly thoughtful design and great performance I'd speculate that it may be great too and simply not offer the bells and whistles like this version - but bottom line anytime anyone asks me for a recommendation for a bluetooth adapter I'm telling them Soundodo. Hats off to them.
