About this item

  • Retractable Ratchet Tie Down Straps: Each of these boat buckle retractable tie downs has a 2500 lbs break strength, safely holding up to 1,667 lbs each. Ideal boat transom tie down straps for secure transport. The retractable ratchet system allows quick tightening and loosening of the straps with one hand.
  • Boat Trailer Tie Down Straps: These retractable ratchet tie down straps are made with heavy-duty webbing, secure hooks, and a strong ratcheting mechanism. These retractable rachet straps adjust to 43 inches, making them essential boat trailer accessories straps for any trip.
  • Hook, Ratchet, & Go: These boat transom retractable tie down straps keeps the boat straps for trailer neatly retracted, preventing tangles and flapping on the road. No more dealing with long straps flapping in the wind or getting tangled up.
  • Easy to Use Bolt on Ratchet Straps: Spend less time on installation and more time on the water! Hardware included. Fits most trailers and boats with transom tie-down points. For angled installations, a universal mounting kit is sold separately, Part number F14254A.
  • Note: These straps are not suitable for use in brackish or saltwater environments. For such conditions, we recommend the Boatbuckle G2 Stainless Steel, specifically engineered with anti-corrosive construction to ensure durability and reliability in such settings. Part numbers F14256EC/F14256.

So far so good. Just got them so I'll report back if they fail me. They are easy to use. I didn't use their bolts, I bought stainless steel bolts & nuts instead. Hopefully they will last a long time. They do look well made.

Boat buckle retractable transom straps. Much better than non-retractable transom straps. I ordered a new pair for my new boat. I used some in my prior boat and am spoiled to the ease and speed of use.

Husband loved them. So much easier to use. He did wish that one hook was opposite from the other. They are both turned to hook from right

This is a great item, makes life alot easier when strapping dn the boat at the boat dock. No more guessing as how tight to make it. No more risk of scratching the boat or gel coat. Just press the button, pull strap up and ratchet it tight. Very nice, very easy, it is also very easy to mount, but i do suggest you order the extra mounting parts, incase ,like my boat , the position in which i had to mount the buckle was way to forward, put to much angle on straps, the extra mount brackets, added extra length to eliminate that angle. You will thank your self every time you take your boat out. I got heavy duty, i used my own bolts , only because i dont like nila lock nuts. If you use stainless nuts and bolts you must tighten them slowly, if you try to use power tools they will freeze up the nuts before they tighten, that's Normal with stainless, if you use power tools or try to tighten stainless nuts and bolts to fast , its a Gamble as to weather they freeze up or not, if they do its a night mare to get them off, just use a little anti seize and a ratchet and you will be fine.

These tie downs are easy to install and work well. I mounted them on my 18ft boat trailer. They’re handy & quick to hook and unhook and stay securely fastened.

I bought these for my 2024 Tracker Pro 170. I could not install them because of the way Tracker angles the holes for the straps. I had to buy the “universal adapter kit” for another $20. In my view, this should come with the straps. They still don’t fit like I would prefer but the only way they would is if I bent the trailer holes to make them straight which on a new boat I wasn’t willing to do. As far as the buckles themselves, they work great and are so easy to use. Very strong and realize easily. Much better than the stock straps that came with the boat and will save a little time at the boat ramp. I do recommend but if you have angles to the trailer holes than you will likely need the adapter kit.

I had purchased a cheaper brand a year ago. I knew better and did it anyway. They didn't work all the time and would not retract so I ordered the boat buckle brand. They work perfect. I had them on my previous boat, should have ordered them this time too. They were $10 more and well worth it. Built better, sturdier and they mount in 5 minutes. Great value.

準備に後片付けが楽ちんになりました以前から使用していましたが、トレーラーの買い替えと共に今回も導入です走行中に緩む事も無く余分なベルトも出なくて安全に簡単にボートがトレーラーに緊縛できます

I would have given these 5 stars any day of the week, but I ran into the same bolt/nut problem that has been brought up in other reviews. The mounting hardware is a large stainless bolt and nut, and while they look new and ok to use, the threads bind heavily and will sieze up on you about 1/2 way tight. In anticipiation of this happening (based on reading other reviews before I bought these tie-downs), I liberally coated the threads of the bolts and nuts with grease (I stole some off the zirk fittings off the boat motor). Even with this, I had one heck of a time getting these tightened down. I had to install the nut about 1/3 of the way, completely back it off, clean off all the shavings and grease, apply new grease, thread the nuts on 1/2 way this time, remove, clean, re-grease, then tighten all the way the 3rd time. And the 3rd time was still quite tough. I question if I will ever get the bolts off again if I needed to. Each buckle mounts with one bolt and one nut.The straps (not including the mounting hardware) are awesome. They are easy to use, lock the boat solidly in place, and ratchet down just as fast as any other ratchet strap. The strap material looks like seat belts and is very tough. The only thing I may do is add some sort of abrasive cover where the strap goes around a 90 degree corner and I am a bit concerned about long term chaffing of the strap. For what these cost, I want them to last a life time (and they are stainless afterall, so they should last forever). These straps are worth the extra money and are leaps and bounds better than using old school ratcheting straps to hold your boat in place. Don't bother buying the $9.99 2-pack specials that break after 2 years and get all tangled up (or lost). These boatbuckles stay mounted to the trailer and you'll never have to hunt for them. They also speed up launch and retrevial times significantly (and if you use a "busy" launch site, then speed is of the essence so you don't end up as a youtube video of the guy who can't seem to launch a boat).Again, the straps themselves are fantastic, but the bolts are a nightmare. As a previous commenter suggested, BUY YOUR OWN! I don't even recommend the grease method I tried.
