Not easy and quick to put on at all!.First use leaving my driveway in ice up hill most all the studs fell off!!!Literally did not last for first 100ft!!

I used these on my JD 318 garden tractor with mtd snowblower as I had poor traction if there was ice under the snow. These cut into the ice and gave me the traction I needed. Only used one time so far but held up well and seem fairly sturdy. Easy to put on .

These Boulder Tools Snow Chains work pretty well. They are probably misnamed, because they're not really chains, but I guess they function as such. I was looking for "snow chains" that were easier to put on than regular chains are, and these are definitely easier to put on than regular chains. It was really easy just to strap the plate to the top of the tire and through the rim. They only give you 10, and you're supposed to put 5 on each tire, so these will fit on 2 tires. I guess you're either supposed to buy 2 sets of these or just put them on the back tires. I strapped these on and went for a drive in a very sandy part of a remote property, and I was able to get out of the sand. I try this sand test on all my tire gizmos, and it usually is a good indicator if the item will work well in the snow. So I expect this will work well during the winter. I recommend this product.

UPDATE: I had an opportunity to use these today. They are very easy to attach to your tire, I did have to stop twice to tuck in the excess webbing because I didn't want it to get wrapped around the back of the wheel and cause some kind of damage. Once I had to stop because it shifted slightly and the buckle was under my tire and I couldn't undo it roadside, so I had to cut the webbing with my pocket knife because I was afraid driving on the buckle would damage my tire. Other than that, they seemed to give me good traction on the icy roads. I drove with them for 30 miles and up to speeds of 45mph. I think driving at the higher speed tended to wear out the little studs faster and also lost one of them. Other things I found was that they cause the car to drive really rough and they are LOUD! Besides that, I didn't have any problem steering, stopping or accelerating. I felt much more comfortable driving on ice with these on my tires than when I don't have anything on them.Last year, I wrecked my car a block from home when I slid on ice. I saw these and thought they would be good to have for this year.... They come in their own carry case.... inside there are 10 strips that attach to your tire. They look super easy to attach by slipping it around your tire and through the openings of the wheel and then tighten the buckle. Every so many inches they are a little circle with teeth on them to help your tires grip the ice better. I'm just not sure if I'm supposed to put them on the front tires or the rear tires.

These are 10 separate straps you put around your tires (2 tires, 5 per tire). Each one has three little metal circles that help grip. They are not spikes that stick out significantly.The name of the product is a bit misleading as these are not snow chains. I would call them snow grips.

These fit my tires perfectly! They work great and do everything they are supposed to! easy to install and easy to take off! This is priced at a really good price as well! I didn't need any extra tools or hardware! Comes with gloves and everything you need! No complaints here , i definitely recommend this product for your tire chains!
