I will NEVER buy another Bourn pot again! Got my guitar all back together and found out the shafts on the pot is to big for my Volume knob. Tried drilling the brass insert out of my knob and ruined it. Very well made knobs and now I got nothing. Bourn pots stink

Seems to work as advertised. the metal seems cheap, and the shaft rotates with almost no resistance at all, giving it a loose cheap feeling. it is also bit gritty when turned. very unimpressed with the quality. i tend to like a tighter and smoother rotation. guess i'll keep looking for the right potentiometer.

In my humble opinion and experience, these are the best post available for the price. Don't get me wrong - CTS makes great pots also. However, the thing I like about these is that they are sturdy, reliable, well made, and VERY easy to turn for volume swells - the last one is what really sold me. I got these from AmplifiedParts through Amazon. They are always wonderful to deal with and ship very quickly.
