Originally designed as a student guitar, the Mustang has become an iconic member of the original Fender lineup. Our kit includes all of the right parts to rewire your Mustang, most from the original OEM Suppliers.
These are the right parts to rewire a vintage USA-made Mustang, and are also a very nice upgrade for Japanese Mustangs, to convert them to the original USA component brands (minor hole enlargement may be required to convert from metric to UTS threads). We have kits with either black switches or white switches so that you can get the look you want!

I had purchased this as I had acquired a Fender Mustang and it is in need of some hardware changes, and this product definitely helped start from scratch. Very good instructions and diagrams as well. Definitely recommend if you need to rewire your mustang, or have bought one used and it needs some love.

Very clear instructions and easy to install (with a little experience in soldering, etc.)Replaced the stock hardware on my IYV Mustang clone and it sounds so much better and I have a lot more control (three way switches vs 2)

Cheaper than most kits, or what you could piece together yourself from scratch. The optional modern wire was actually a life saver when connecting the body cavities with shielding tape. Plus frequently filled stock, CTS pots, an optional treble bleed, great wiring diagram AND Prime shipping? What else do you need?

I have to replace my switches once every other year. This is the best kit out there, pvc and cloth wire to match your existing wiring, Switchcraft jack and switches, CTS pots, an orange drop capacitor and a treble bleed!
