So, I ended up ordering 2 of these for my truck because my brake lights had stopped working.The first package was totally the wrong part, they ended up sending me a “motorcycle vibration dampener”.The 2nd one was the correct part. However, when I installed it in my truck, my truck all of a sudden wouldn’t turn over. After trying to start it a few times, it finally turned over and started running. My dash board was lit up like a Christmas Tree, so I attempted to turn the truck off. I had the truck in park, turned the key back to the off position and completely removed the key from the ignition and the truck was still running. Only after releasing the brake pedal did the truck finally turn off.I uninstalled this switch and reinstalled the old one, obviously my brake lights weren’t coming on, but the truck started up like it was supposed to, the dash board was normal, and it tuned off like it was supposed to.I ended up going to a big name auto parts store and purchased the correct part for 2x the price of this one. Everything is working fine now.Stay away from this.
