Clips are the right size, seem durable, and a fine substitute for much more expensive brand-name fasteners. Would be nice if a square #1 bit was included, but guess not at this price point. My only complaint is that on many of the clips the screws are set too far. I had to back them out a little before attaching to joist. Not a big deal, but when you are using hundreds a day the extra time adds up!

The clip spacing of this product is 15/16 inch (5.92mm) -- why is this data not provided upfront? why do I need to buy the product, measure it myself and then return it? seems a shady and irresponsible ploy to sell more. Returning, what choice to I have?This clip is too wide for most projects, I suspect this is the reason the manufacturer doesn't state it.Manufacturer: Provide accurate and concise information on your product.

Bought these because the trex brand was far more expensive. They worked great!!!

These deck fasteners did a great job and they worked with the name brand decking. My only complaint is they were advertised pictured as Phillips head but came as Square heads. I used them anyway because you can't beat the price compared to off-the-shelf fasteners. The screws are self tapping so they went in this old hardened wood easy.
