Definitely an improvement over the 2 piston wired OEM brakes that came with my Ebike, but that isn't to say the original brakes didn't work well enough. Very easy for me to install and a poster child of "bolt on mod". Just a little bit of wire management, take your time, plan well and do it right. Comes with the 2 pin motor cutoff connector. No instructions to speak of, but you'll find a gold pass through compression fitting, a black pass through screw and a soft pass through end cap for each side. The cables come with an end cap screwed on to keep the oil in while you run them along your wire management. After you install the calipers over the discs and run the lines (keep the bolts loose), don't install your levers on the handlebars yet. Holding a line end upwards to not spill oil out, remove the end cap, slide on the soft end cap first (you'll see the proper direction), then slide the pass through screw (wide end first), then the compression fitting and set aside keeping the open end up. Holding the lever mechanism upwards, unscrew the silver cap so that no oil spills out. Now you'll have to understand that the black pass through screw is going to push the gold compression fitting towards the inside of the lever mechanism. As you screw the black pass through bolt into the lever, this compression fitting is going to tighten down on the cable and mechanism to prevent leaking. So you want to put theses two ends (lever and assembled wire) horizontally together with some speed to tighten down that black pass through screw to a good torque. I don't have a torque number per say, but get it tight while not going crazy to strip the aluminum threads, if it leaks, it's not tight enough. Then you can mount your levers on the handlebar. Think about it before you do it, you'll find minimal to no spill and no need for bleeding after. Then you'll go back to your calipers and tighten them down while adjusting the position screws to line best with the brake disc, can be done visually, but if you spin the wheel and hear brake pad rubbing without applying brakes, it's not properly aligned yet.Mainly bought for the cool factor after subpar OEM pedals had me buying a fully alloy set and that initiated the anodized red additions to my bike. Glad I bought this set, make sure you get a Zoom set with alloy lever handles, I've seen a plastic handle set out there. Well worth the time and money imo.

They were easy to install. I rode 60 miles this week and they are working great.

The breaks were missing one of the small metal connectors that attaches the brake hose to the brake handle. This small part makes tone of the breaks totally useless as it is not able to hold the oil. I have reached out to have one sent and there has been absolutely no response.

I own two Lectric version 2 ebikes, with really poor manual disk brakes. The BUCKLOS-packaged Zoom brake kit is essentially a drop-in replacement that is a HUGE improvement in braking performance. I dinged them one star only because there are no instructions provided, and when contacted, they pointed me to a customer-generated YouTube review that gave me enough info to get the job done. I didn't need to bleed these after installing them, but if I did, apparently there is yet another YouTube video on that process. Customer support communications are apparently coming out of China, so there is the expected time-zone delay. Aside from that, they are very responsive. The only hard part about installing these was removing the stock handlegrips. That just took muscle and patience. The hydraulic reservoir on the handle is pre-loaded with oil. The caliper and its pre-attached hydraulic line are also pre-loaded with oil. The end of the cable is equipped with a clever threaded cap to keep the oil from leaking, and still facilitate routing the cable on/through the bike frame when installing. Then it's just a matter of removing the caps on the cable and lever assembly while keeping each pointing up, then quickly inserting the cable end into the lever assembly and tightening the compression nut.Once installed, adjusting them so they don't drag is the same as any other disk brakes. Now my brakes no longer squeal, and I can lock up the wheels very little effort if I wanted to with. The performance difference is amazing.

I have the Aventon Adventure 2 with racks, bags, etc. it's heavy and the OEM brakes just weren't cutting it. i tried to just change the rotors by installing 203mm and pads. helped, but still wasn't there, so i decided to go with bigger calipers/pads.What a difference! i mean like night and day.i didn't replace the hose, just the levers and calipers. bleed and in about 5 mins of pad bedding, i was good to go!also ,no more noisy front brakes!i highly recommend you get these. best bang for the buck out there.

They work great after battling to get them to bleed properly. And I mean battle.
