Total waste of money! The lock would not unlock after applying to handgun. Had to use two sets of pliers to twist off the lock just to get it off. Obviously the lock not working properly was disappointingly, but then to see how easy it was to remove the lock with pliers was very concerning. Don't waste your money. For those that may say I did not know how to use it, I am a firearms instructor and know how to handle guns and gun locks.

Number dials are hard to turn. I should have went with a Master Lock.

I bought three of these for the handguns I keep at home, and they did not work on a single one of them. They lock into place semi-securely, but with a very minor amount of wiggling, you can pull them apart - after being completely locked. I am returning all of them.Do not buy these if you want your guns to be secure. As an additional lock in a safe maybe, but if these will be your only way to secure your guns do not purchase them - the locks come off far too easily.
