I have not installed this yet. I'm waiting on the carpenter to finish the demolition on the old bathroom and rebuilding the new shower stall. I am actually doing bathrooms for two apartments. I'm taking the opportunity to do a little experiment. One apartment is getting this brushed gold shower panel system and the other is getting a standard faucet system. The two apartments are almost identical with the exception of this shower wall. I will be showing both apartments for rent to see what difference, if any, that it makes to prospective tenants. The rent price with this panel will be $50 more per month. If they repeatedly choose the shower panel wall, even with the higher rent, then I will end up installing this in every apartment. I will update with the results of my experiment. This review is currently just based on the quality of the panel and not on the operation. This panel is very rich and modern looking. Even though there are some plastic components, it appears to be of sufficient quality to withstand the rigors of tenant use. Installation appears to be very simple initially, and also to replace in the future if need be. The main reason that I want to use these panels in my units is for future ease of replacement. First of all… $300 for this item on Amazon is overkill - Home Depot sells it for $175.Second - the quality of the item is not good either. Shower hose is plastic, shower handle is plastic, the panel itself is not looking good especially in the are where it curves.Overall… save your money and buy something decent of a higher quality even if it costs more.

For this price point, I didn't expect to see so much plastic. The showerhead and hose are plastic. It looks nice but I thought the materials would be nicer. The color is nice and modern.

This is a shiny gold color, be careful if you are matching existing hardware. Shower head is close to the wall, wish that extended out a bit more. Middle water flow jets dribble more than spray.
