I use these with an LSI HBA in IT mode, breaks the SFF8087 header out into four normal SATA headers. I've had one of these in use for 4-5 years now, and got another to build a new array on the tabletop to image the old array to the new one, then pull the old drives and move the new ones in. Sweetness.

These work fine in a TrueNAS box on a supermicro board. IO at full speed. No disk errors or other weirdness. They just work. If you need reverse cables then these are the ones to buy. If you don't know if you need them then just search "synology" and be done with it.

These cables are great for my LSI 2907 HBA. They’re extra long to reach the far away drives. Warning, they’re very touchy. I was hotswapping some drives and I barely touched a plugged-in cable. The drive had over 500 read and write errors each when I checked on it. Now the array is resilvering. Be careful with these cables.

Not too exciting product. Make sure to select the correct length for your case, HBA, drive locations. This one is fairly short, but works for my use case. No long cables to manage!

I needed to replace the miniSAS to 4x SATA on my Dell PowerEdge T420 as the last one was kinked and no longer working. Since this shows to be used for connections to motherboards, I took the chance instead of paying the $30 for the official part. This item does work, but there is a communication error with the drives which makes it unusable for in the T420. I then tried it with the ASR-2405 PCIe adapter and a couple of the ASR-6405 and ASR-6405E PCIe adapters which this cable works very well.

Good value buy. Have had them for over a month in my unraid box with no read or write errors or any problems.Definitely thin and fragile, take it easy while handling them, no pinches or tight corners and you should be fine.I had the shorter version of these for almost 8 years no problems. Had to get longer ones though when I swapped cases and these fit the bill.

Edito:Aparentemente parecen de buena calidad. No lo son en absoluto. Tras varios meses de uso, dan muchos errores de lectura/escritura en los discos. Temia que mi placa base, alguna controladora o mis discos estuviesen estropeados y al final eran estos cables. A mucha mas gente le pasa en foros como los de Unraid u otros software de NAS, con este tipo de cables SAS de marca blanca. Es mejor buscar cables SAS de Supermicro, Dell, HP... etc.Lo peor es que ahora me tengo que tragar estos cables con patatas ya que no los puedo devolver.

Great cable all drives register in BIOS. Amazing price vs other cables on the market. This cable is a Mini SAS back plane to SATA motherboard/PCI card interface. In my case I used it to connect a server cases' hot swap-able back plane to my motherboard. 10/10 great quality and length.

I'm using it on one of my NAS boxes on a Supermicro SC743 chassis with SC743 SAS backplane. Since the cables are not so long, it just fits there perfectly, with no lots of cable laying around.Cable thickness provide great flexibility and helps with the airflow to other motherboard components, since I have 4 intake fans on this chassis.It is connected to a LSI 9211-8i HBA and so far, no SATA/SAS data errors. I'm very happy with the product.

The cable works as expected but has the added bonus of being very flexible.I really like the way that the cable is built, I would buy it again for sure.You can't beat the value for this cable.
