Great cable, does exactly what it's supposed to.Our Town Board installed a video projector in our meeting room, and they use the HDMI input for their purposes. We have occasion to show short videos and do virtual access for some other meetings, and it was most convenient to send the projector signal from our Desktop computer rather than a laptop. It's in the next room. We got the long cable and installed it, and it works perfectly. Since only one of us is using the meeting room, the projector auto-detects the signal and selects the correct input. We don't have a plug-unplug-replug issue any more. We just turn on what we need and it happens.We had an older cable that didn't work, but this new one was plug-and-play and it worked perfectly.Old-Dinosaur 15-pin VGA lives on and makes life easier for all of use.

Works great. Using it going from laptop to a projector mounted on ceiling mid room. At first plugging it in caused a humm through the sound system and ripples in the image. This was not the cable's fault. It was due to a grounding loop because the projector is so far up the power circuit. I removed the ground pin from the projector power cable (AC) all works perfectly now. No worries BTW proper ground is created naturally through the cable at the computer and sound system end.

It seems a little short but I guess it was 3 feet long, as advertised. And if you are just needing a cable to connect your monitor and computer together, you really don't need a lot of extra cable cluttering up your desk. I connected it up and it worked just fine from the beginning. The screw holders are easy to twist with fingers and that's a good thing, in tight places. But you need them to make sure all of your pins are connecting. This cable worked great for me. Just plugged it in and forgot about it. I couldn't be writing this review if it didn't work.

Monitor hooked up to this cable to a dual monitor setup and it shows unknown monitor, not the Acer that it is. The other VGA cable shows as Acer monitor and allows full resolution. Swapped cables and the problem moves from monitor to monitor so it is the cable. I'll send it back and try another one, but I may have been better off paying an extra buck or so and gotten a different cable to start with. Sad because cable appears to be well made, but it is thinner than any other VGA cable I've had so I'd guess they skimped on the shielding as well.

The end connectors are not so huge, when working on a wall mounted TV. I would ask that you recommend an amplifier for cables longer than 25 feet. This cable seemed to stop working, but only with one TV. An amp solved the problem.
