First, for DYI people, this is NOT a fully wired cable. It seems to only have 9 wires to the 15 pins. The reason I returned is that I need a cable with all 15 individual cables.I’m sure this would probably work for VGA outputs where you only need the 9 wires, but I did notice that the standoff nuts were too large where the female end couldn’t fully seat into the male connector, which is the reason for the 3 stars. Everything else is as pictured.They even have an image showing that the standoff nuts can’t be screwed out, so that is expected. Not sure if that was added after the other reviews stating that they can’t be unscrewed, but it was there when I purchased.

A bit overpriced compared to 6' cables, but I needed these for short extensions from overhead projectors mounted in classroom setting where users need to connect to them. The sturdiness is an advantage as they are used frequently.

I ordered this as the product is shown having screws on both ends of the terminations. When I opened the bag and went to install it, it had nuts on one end and screws on the other. Given our travel restrictions with winter weather, I had to break off of the nuts and in doing so may have ruined the cable. So please sell the advertised product as it is shown in the pictures.

I'm building an single-board computer (SBC) Windows 98 PC and the case I'm using (a Rosewill Throne) rams the edge of the card where the VGA plugs into too far over to fit a conventional VGA cable. I needed a VGA extension cable anyway to use with a 3dfx Voodoo 2 setup (since the Voodoo 2 requires a video source to be plugged into it in order to render 2D) and I didn't want to cut up the existing VGA pass through cables I already had (plus they were hard to cut up anyway). So I bought this and then shaved down the side that is too close to the edge and bent the metal "wing" in so it would fit and it works perfectly.Probably not the most practical review ever but, hey, I got my money's worth.

This product in the picture doesn’t have these brass nubs on one side effectively making it useless for any product where you have to tighten it on the cords end I have been fooled twice by similar products and honestly thought I should try and twist them off to see if it’s in there but nope if I am wrong or being stupid I’ll edit this review but this is not what was pictured
