I use these lightly for knocking the paint nibs off. They would work for hard core sanding too. I like the size and thickness of the blocks.

I have a lot of different types of sanders and am constantly on the lookout for sanding blocks the are rigid enough to hold their form in tight corners without being so solid that they can’t give way to the shape of the material. These did great while refinishing my cabinets. It might be hard to see in my before and after pictures, but it easily smoothed out the thickened edges of the little drips from the bonding primer without completely sanding through the entire layer. They also did great on the intricate inner edges and outer chamfered edges.They seem to be lasting longer than my previous sponge sanding blocks and definitely outlasted my replaceable sanding sheets on my handled sanding block.I’ll definitely get these again!
