This is a very compact and easy to use tool to have in your backpack. It's perfect for hanging a small pot over a fire for something hot to drink on a cold hike.

I really liked the idea of this camping tripod board. I was looking for a camping tool/garget as a souvenir/gift for a friend. I needed it to be small in size and weigh little and also be unique to make sure my friend didn't already have it. It was a success. My friend really liked the this tripod and said he didn't have it or had not seen anything like it and will certainly have use of it when cooking in camping! Mission accomplished! It came with a brown leather ish bag which gave it a nice touch.

We had a bit of a tough time getting it to stay together. Probably something else a little better out there for the sturdy factor. This does take up very little space, so back packing friendly

The product looks great everything is there, but haven’t had a chance to try it yet, it looks like a good outfit, it looks strong and durable and looking forward to doing an update when I actually get to use it.

This is a very cool little piece of equipment. Do you need it? No. But it takes up barely any room or weight in your pack and you can set up a nifty little tripod in a matter of minutes. The chain with hook that it comes with is a real bonus too. For the price just pick one of these up!

I’m into bushcraft and wild camping. I took my adult sons out on a multi day wild camping trip. It rained the whole time, and we didn’t bring a propane stove. We cooked over the fire with the tripod and a cast iron pot. Chili one night and stew the next. The tripod worked great! Important to use live green limbs of appropriate strength and shave the ends down to fit the tripod. Also get those legs dug in a bit so they can’t slide out under load.Being able to prep a pot and just let it hang and cook was great. Gave us extra time to visit as the meal simmered away. It’s a great addition to my pack. Also I really like the leather pouch it comes with.A winner product!

I purchased this. Its handy...but if you don't have the money, and want to be a true Bushcrafter", you can get by just using some paracord, and truss- the sticks. Especially, if " weight"- is an issue. This thing is heavy/ quality made, but your hiking gear/ pack- needs to be thought out carefully- if hiking/ as every ounce- " COUNTS"!! Now, if you just camping ( have transportation)- to carry everything, then this " is nice to have"!@ Everyone's situation is different. I bought it- mainly for hiking, but won't carry everytime/ everywhere. It solely depends- what necessities are really needed, for the geographical area/ and situation. ( wouldnt recommend- for those " Bug-out bags"!!). Only have ready " Necessities". I would pack/ choose a Medical kit, over this- to have ready!! You can Always " Tie/ truss" you string/ line...to tie off the Sticks needed, if you only learn..the correct way ( watch a video/ take a course on bushcraft/ or read). Its nice- and convienent...and do not get me wrong...as I would buy, again. Comes with " fake leather" pouch- but it's ok too- Does the job!!@ Leather very expensive/ and China made materials...surely not going to provide real leather. The total costs- would be more, than the product!! Also- the pouch adds extra weight..if hiking.( I wouldnt use pouch, if took/ made part, of my bag/ pack. Just sayin'..everyone's different though. I gave the stars I did- based on my opinion only. I want people to " have a honest review", before they spend their money!!

Well made but remember not to overload the self made tripod. Easy to store and light weight. Works as stated in advertisement....one reviewer used rebar for the tripod legs, this works fine but the extra weight and length kinda takes away from the idea, I live on 1100 acres, bought 1 and gave it to my 13 yr old twins and sent them out camping.....they loved it and came back with some good stories and were well fed on the land....no pics to post tho because they dropped the camera in the stream......oh well....the stories....I would buy this item again...and recommend it ...very well made for the few bucks it cost...
