It is so hard to sift through all the jar grabbing products on here. My partner happened upon this one so we ordered it. It works great on large and small mouth jars!By the way, the wooden handles are for your hands to grip, not for gripping the jars out of the hot water.

I was still using the same old one I had for 50 years. Finally got a new one and it's not as heavy metal but it sure grips well. I like the whole set and wish I would have had it 50 years ago 😊.

I like the looks of this, but it would be much better if it were spring loaded like the Ball jar lifter. It's almost a 2 handed operation.

It is comfortable because the handle is made of wood.
