I ordered the same exact shoes that I’ve had for about 20 years, but the “leather” on these looks and feels like pleather, and the sizing is not the same with as my previous shoes.

I needed a new pair of black character shoes to replace my old ones and was thrilled to find these Capezios on Amazon. They are beautifully made and fit well except the very back is a bit loose for my narrow heel. A silicone pad fixed that!

I wear medium width. I ordered half size bigger than my street shoes as suggested, came in too long and very narrow. Exchanged for a pair half size smaller than my street shoes and in "Wide". The second pair length is OK but still on the narrow side. Since there is no "Extrawide", I decide to keep these. Quality and color are as expected. I had a pair of similar Capezio dance shoes but was not leather, and the top cracked after several years. This time decided to buy a pair made of leather, and hopefully will last longer.

I needed these dance shoes for a show. I ordered 1/2 size up like they suggested. They were too big. I exchanged them instead of refunding and reordering. BIG MISTAKE! They still didn’t send the replacement shoes in the smaller size and they were returned to UPS days ago. They should have received them and sent out the new pair. Nothing……1 star for extra slow company response. Very disappointed in Capezio for this order.

Habe mir den Schuh über die anderen Rezensionen ausgesucht. Er war am Anfang, wie beschrieben, etwas zu eng. Nach 3 maligen Tragen beim Tanzen war er dann optimal. Er ist nicht zu hoch und das Leder trägt sich angenehm. Ich kann diesen Schuh für Tanzanfänger empfehlen

I am an aspiring theater actress in graduate school and I needed some character shoes for rehearsing.The heel is a perfect height. I am used to wearing higher heels for 'going out' but these are great for acting, dancing, and moving in. They give you enough height to feel like a heel, but are low enough so you can actually do some REAL work. Sometimes high heels hurt and disconnect you from the much needed 'grounded' feeling when working.They are really comfortable, break in nicely, and are great for auditioning.They are a tad narrow so if you have wide feet opt for a wider size.I LOVE my Capezios!!!
