Likes:The color: I like the faded look! Goes very well with my rustic farmhouse aesthetic.The size: I like that it fits my laundry area perfectly!Unexpected benefit: I like that it helps to dampen the sound of the laundry machines when they're running.Since my laundry room is the main entry way for friends, family & walking the dog this is such a benficial addition!!! Wet, muddy boots & paws? No problem! Snowy, salty boots & paws? No problem! New puppy accident? No problem! Old dog, holiday-dumpster-diving-bubble-tummy? NO PROBLEM!! Toss it in the washer and you're good to go!Now, full disclosure, I would NOT recommend substitute using this for a washable/reusable pee pad for a brand new puppy. The accident I mentioned was an older puppy (8mos) that didn't signal adequetly during our holiday chaos that she needed to go out. Kind of a one-of accident.I will say that this rug takes up most of my washer and dryer. When drying I use very-low or no heat and hang it to dry completely.

It sticks to the hardwood floor, looks great, no issues with rolling the office chair over it.

I had ordered a couple of similar rugs and did not read carefully when I ordered this one. This is in the description: Note: Do not lay it directly on existing carpets, and ensure that the hard floor is free of impurities before laying it. I have used a clear plastic mat on carpet in order to slide an office chair easily. I am not sure why I should not put it on the carpet. I put a rug like this on my area rug because I then place a puddle pad for my dog. Both rugs are washable but I try to keep everything clean and it is easier to wash the smaller rug. My dog is well-trained but I know they get sick and may mess things up. My dog actually throws up on his puddle pad if he can make it. I am going to see if I can figure out why I should not put this on the carpet. It looks nice and I am sure it works well as intended.

I needed a carpet to put my work chair on so it doesn’t ruin my wood floors and this was perfect. The quality is good. It was not made out of cheap material. It was pretty thick. My chair was able to roll back-and-forth without getting stuck or without the rug moving back-and-forth. I would like to buy this again in a larger size in the future.
