How to Correctly Unfold Our Office Floor Mats?
To achieve a smoother surface, Please unfold the mat as shown in the picture
Method 1: Expose the chair mat to the sun for 2 hours until it softens and then unfold it
Method 2: Heat it with a hair dryer and the chair mat will gradually soften before unfolding it
Method 3: Roll the chair mat in the opposite direction and press it to release the curl, then place it with the textured side facing the floor
Method 4: Add weight to the four corners, which will speed up the flattening of the chair mat

We have unsealed natural stone floors which are easily damaged by anything that rubs on them such as the casters of a rolling chair. We needed a way to protect the floor that would not have a high edge that might catch the chair's rollers, and without texture so that the chair could roll easily.We purchased the 3x5 ft ((approximately) clear mat with the hopes that it would be fairly thin, strong, protective, and waterproof (our Golden sits at our feet and drools). The mat lives up to all these expectations.This mat come tightly rolled up, and we were not sure how to get it to lay flat. A few hours in out 100 degree sun heated it up and let it flatten out. In use, the mat is a good size (although it would be nice if it were a full 3x5 feet), is basically non-skid), and it does protect the floor from scratching and general wear and tear.This mat works for us, keeping the tile safe.

I needed something for my desk chair, and I thought this was actually going to be very cheap, but instead it turned out to be fantastic. It is just perfect enough, and I added some rubber grips at the bottom to prevent it from moving so much. Overall great quality and I would recommend this.

This is a good soft, flexible mat that's meant to be used on HARD surfaces, such as hardwood and tile floors. You can also cut it to size and use it as a clear cover to protect a desk top.The seller's photos show "thicker" or more prominent dots (nubs, I guess?) on the bottom...mine doesn't have nubs. The bottom of mine is a hammered glass texture.If you have carpet, this is NOT the type of mat you should be buying. You want a hard, rigid mat.Trying to use this on carpet will just have your wheels sinking down and creating divots in the mat.

I’m able to use my office chair easily on top of it and it keeps my hardwood floor protected without any scratches. I was able to fit it under my desk as well to prevent any damage from direct contact with the flooring. It does not easily get moved around as I roll and move my office chair, which is good cause it stays in place. It’s thin yet is sturdy, it does a fantastic job covering the area and gripping onto it well.
