Did a road trip 4 hours away during rain and it held up. One item did get wet. It was easy to load and had plenty of room for 6 bags, 3 twin size air mattress and a baby pack & play. For the price it was definitely worth it.

While I would always prefer a hard shell over a soft shell, I must say that this one really makes me wonder how important the difference is. This is a surprisingly durable and well-built product. Even though its a soft shell, I definitely feel like anything contained in it is going to stay nice and dry. The bonus with the soft shell too is that you can always have it stowed away in your trunk. Much more portable and convenient than a hard top since you can always have it around in the vehicle if necessary. There are ample straps to hold it down, even on just side rails alone. The anti-slip mat is a nice touch to keep it in place and also to protect your roof paint. The final great point is that this thing is very big. Yes, I’d rather have a hard shell, especially one that I can lock. But this is really a great (and more affordable) alternative. Overall, very happy with this!

This bag was durable and stable! I drove 900 miles and it stayed well. Survived in the rainstorm overnight. Easy to install but it’s kind of heavy. I will still rate a five star

The “OGASAMI Car Rooftop Cargo Bag Rooftop Luggage Carrier 20 Cubic Feet Roof Bag Waterproof Cargo Carrier Reinforced” is bigger in person than it looks in the pictures. It is made of sturdy, waterproof material. You must have rails to attach it. I got this for our next trip to Florida. The pictures showing this cargo bag are not helpful. It is a soft bag and will never look like the pictures. Know your cargo before packing—a Mid-sized suitcase (26” X 17” X 12”). If placed on their side, four mid-sized suitcases will fit, possibly a fifth bag placed longways and perhaps a carry-on. So, I can see how it would be possible to get six suitcases into this carrier. But if your suitcases are larger, know that only two will fit in the space available, with room for odd sizes. Overall, I am not disappointed with this purchase. I may update this review after we complete our 12-hour road trip to Florida.
