The bearings actually blowup the unit , leaving you with almost no brakes on a sudden stop, I purchased two of this and they only lasted about 30 days , the first one failed and I was thinking maybe I had a bad one out the bunch , I decided to buy the second one and it did exactly the same thing, don’t buy this trash don’t waste your money or put your self at risk driving with one of this on your truck

So many of the new and rebuilt aftermarket vacuum pumps fail within a few hundred miles, usually due to their use of inferior bearings. This is my second vacuum pump in a few months; it replaces a new China-made Substandard Motor Products (SMP) one that failed within about 1,200 miles, with the bearing puking its greasy guts and starting to squeal.Motorcraft units have been discontinued, so we have few choices for direct replacements. My recommendation is to keep and rebuild your Motorcraft unit, if possible.

I put this on my 1994 f250 worked great for about 4 months and it broke. Literally broke a piece fell off of it.

A perfect fit. Bolted up nicely. No stress abs easy fix. Has been installed for 3 weeks and no issues. The best part of this 'part' is it came with the pulley attached. Ford wanted $322 for the vac pump and pulley, ues OEM, but not $322 worth.Very happy with this purchase.Would highly recommend and I am not paid by the manufacturer.I am going to purchase an extra one to have on hand, I was so impressed with it.

I'm giving this pump a (1 star) and not a ( -1 Star) only because it was an exact fit and comes with the pulley and bolts. The pump only lasted 3 weeks and 400 miles. The bearing went out and blew oil every where. I did order a replacement under warranty. Lets see how long this one will last, the original pump lasted 400k miles. If this one is junk too I guess I will just pay the big money and get a Motocraft from the dealership.FYI if the replacement pump is good I will update my review

Fit as expected. This is the second time I have had to replace this part on my 97 F350 but most of that is due to the truck not being a daily driver so it sits alot undriven.Parts like this and that truck need to be driven to keep the diaphragm from starting to stick and the brake pedal bricking on you.We will see how long this one lasts.
