This was great instead of using a standard 10 inch plastic cone of shame. It was water resistant, easy to wash, and didn't hurt me when my cat inevitability bumped into me with it. It prevented her from licking her incision perfectly.

I ordered two and they were both covered in weird brown stuff, it looks like it could even be blood. This is not safe for animals.

The comfort level is much higher than most cones. You can adjust to any level of neck tightness instead of just premade flaps. It’s not ridged or as constricting. I used this when my cat had ear mites and couldn’t stop scratching. Unfortunately the material does not clean well. I tried every product for getting out the blood stains out. Soaking, Zote, peroxide, stain remover, baking soda, vinegar. It held onto those stains as well as many other stains.

I have a cat with a small head and a large body. Meaning it was tricky to make sure I got the right size. I ended up with a small since her neck is small, and it doesnt choke her. Sturdy enough to prevent her from scratching, but not too long to prevent her from eating or drinking.

I stand by much of my original review (see below) since the sizing description vs actual size render it unusable; but, the seller stepped up so I’m adding a star for that. They saw my review and contacted me. They apologized and offered a full refund with no strings. That is a class act. I would now consider buying from this seller in the future but would be sure to contact them for specifics on measurements to ensure the item would fit for me.Junk. Reasonably well made but would only fit a small kitten. My cat is small, 8 pounds, and the only way for it to fit was to leave the bottom snap undone. This prompted it to spin in such a way my poor kitty’s ear was caught in the V at the 2nd snap. Apparently no way to return it.

It didn't seem painful to her. It fit well and she wasn't able to slip out of it. She was able to sleep and move around just fine. It was effective in stopping her from gnawing on her injury.

I bought this because my cat kept scratching his ear and would not stop, took him to the vet and vet was just saying it was the scabs and that it needed to heal and gave us some ointment to put on it. We bought this cone as a precautionary to make sure he does stop scratching while it heals. He hates it but it does make it where he can't scratch. It holds up well, easy to clean, and as an added bonus it has a reflective material around the edge so when he decided to hide under the bed we could find him easily.

This is the only cone that my little kitty could not get off. However, I can’t give it five stars because one of the buttons doesn’t snap in place and it constantly becomes undone. Hopefully this was just one bad cone and the replacement is better. Other than that, my cat doesn’t seem to mind it as much as the plastic cones and it seems to block him from licking his neuter site.
