I really like everything about this water fountain, except for one issue; it makes the water too cold, causing my kittens to cough. Initially, I only added just enough water for circulation to keep it hygienic. I thought perhaps the water was overcooling due to the low water level, so I tried filling it up completely. However, the water still remained very cold. Is there a way to control the temperature? If not, it would be great if an adjustable option were available.

It helps if you have a cat who likes his water moving. Mine is fascinated by this. You have to take it apart and clean two of the filters or the waterfall will just trickle.

I have a 10 lb pekingese. Even if she drinks at it from an angle or from the side, it's small enough that her ears just dont fall into it. Her leg length is 5", and from her chin to the floor, about 7".

This water fountain is extremely quiet. It's of good quality. I really like the stainless steel lid. It has clear water fill lines marked. It's large enough that I'm not having to fill everyday. Easy to clean and assemble. It works perfectly. All my cats love this fountain. One of my dogs even likes this fountain. Definitely highly recommend

Good if your cat isn't a jerk. She chewed through the electric cord 2 weeks in.

My cats use this constantly and it’s so easy to clean. I love that it comes with a stainless steel tray and easy to disassemble for WEEKLY cleaning (for those complaining of mold/bio film, you have to completely disassemble and use the pipe cleaning brush etc and clean every spot. It takes less than 5 minutes so don’t skip this maintenance). I use hydrogen peroxide to clean mine. I also keep it in a separate room from their food, so there is less cross contamination. Animal food has lots of fat and protein and even small amounts if put in a water container will cause it to foul. So I think that’s helped make this a great water fountain that seems crystal clean every week I service it! I honestly want to buy two more to put around the house because my cats love it and the extra hydration encouragement is significantly good for their overall health.

I got this fountain on sale, which is the only reason I purchased it to be honest. I’ve had my eye on a much more expensive brand so figured I’d try a “cheap” one first to make sure my cats actually like it. Well I am super glad I did that because I just saved myself a ton of money! This fountain is great. Easy to put together. Easy to clean. It comes with replacement parts and filters. It’s quiet. It runs perfectly. So far no leakage or water flow issues. I am super impressed and would recommend this a million times over! I will not be switching brands anytime soon. Highly recommend!
