Used these to apply a ceramic coating to my car and also a matte protection finish to my wife's car. These applicators held up very well for both purposes. No complaints whatsoever and the price is certainly right for the number of applicators that you get.

The first time, I applied ceramic coating, I used a cloth. It seemed that most of the product just soaked into the cloth. Some did get on the surface, but controlling how even it went on was not going to happen.The next time I applied ceramic coating, I used these and it was so much better. Most of the spray was transferred to the hood as I wiped the surface, versus staying held up in the foam. (I did spray onto the foam versus onto the hood).The foam is just a thin layer on the bottom of the green block, so it won't hold that much anyway. The small size also forces you to work small sections, as you should already be doing.thumbs up for these sponges.

These things have really come in handy on car wash days! They are a very convenient size, not too small but small enough to get around grooves and in tight places. We use them to apply car conditioner, wax & shine and they work like a charm to apply even coats - I would even say they help you to not use more product than you actually need which is great. Overall, handy applicators!!

These products are thin, and not truly designed to hold up, plus, it also makes sense to just have a fresh applicator with each wax. This is a cost effective way to keep your car clean, I recommend.

Yes you can use these to apply ceramic coating but they work great for anything you need to apply. Work really well with armorall and tire shine etc... If you use a cloth for these like I used to most of the product soaks the cloth. With these the product is applied and very little is wasted. Recommend.

I was using the other style of ceramic coating applicators with the little microfiber towels you tuck into the slots on the side. These sponge applicators work better, much easier to apply and spread the ceramic coating across the vehicle surface.

After recently having the hood, front bumper and front fenders of my '24 Ford Maverick covered in paint protection film, i.e., clear vinyl, I've set my eyes on the next project, ceramic coating.It's a task a do-it-yourselfer, like myself can probably do without messing things up too bad, as long as I have the right gear and have watched a bunch of youtube videos to really prepare myself for what's ahead.These sponge blocks are identical to the types of blocks that the pros use, having a quality appearance and feel. I've had other, cheaper blocks that looked OK, but disintegrated, leaving lint particles and fibers across the surface of the body.So, just know that while these cost more than some other brands, they appear to be well worth it and should hold up without any issues.I will update this review if there are any issues, but as of this writing, these sponge blocks will work well for my needs and I'm glad I found them.Recommended

These applicator sponges are fantastic and have quickly become a favorite tool in my detailing kit. The quality is excellent—they’re not flimsy or cheap-feeling, which is exactly what I needed. I’ve only tried a couple so far, but they worked perfectly for my ceramic coating application.I like to use a small microfiber/microsuede cloth wrapped around the sponge, similar to how you’d use a sanding block but for detailing. This method works great because the sponge provides even pressure and support, while the cloth ensures the coating doesn’t soak into the applicator. It also keeps the ceramic coating from being wasted, which is important given how expensive the product can be. I haven’t tried using the sponge directly yet, but I might give it a shot. I am a creature of habit and did what I know.Even though I’m just a ‘shade tree detailer’ and not a professional, these sponges seem really good to me. I plan to use them for other detailing tasks like applying traditional waxes and tire dressings. They’re versatile, durable, and an excellent value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable applicators!
