We have a copuple of kayaks that unfortunately do have to spend most of their time in outside storage. We got this one to fit our kids' small 8' kayak and it looks like it will work well for that. It is made of a heavy denier fabric, more so than I thought it would. It also includes an elastic edge to secure the cover over the kayak, while there are also buckle in straps to get it really secured. There's no way that it would blow off in weather, etc. I slightly questioned some of the stiching but I think it will hold up to some abuse and we'll see how it goes over the winter. So far, so good.

Nice thick sturdy quality. Easy to put on my kayak. Helps keep it from getting sun damaged.
