This 2 piece Griplock Tongue and Groove set contains both the 10 In. and 12 In. in 1 set. Both Griplock pliers have a ergonomically designed offset head for greater leverage. A special jaw design accommodates many shapes and allows 4 points of contact for maximum bite. The undercut Tongue and Groove design assures the strongest can’t-slip jaw action and the patented PermaLock fastener is stinger, safer, and smoother that the old time nut and bolt.

Grips are thin and break down easy...already have one handle wrapped in tape. Tried holding onto a nut that cross threaded and it left a indent.Overall I like them because they are light weight. I use the smaller one in a pouch and keep the bigger one in my bag. I might upgrade to Klipex Cobras eventually

No they do not bite like Knipex Cobras. But they are USA Made and 1/2 the priceThey will do well and last long. Not the bite of the Cobras, but for most uses, they will suffice

They work like a pipe wrench and don't need to be squeezed to keep from slipping... Where have these been all my life.!

I used both Pliers within days of receiving them. Their overall quality is what helped make my decision to purchase these particular tools. Other than doings a basic job, I don't believe I have the need for similar tools with locking handles or 1 hand adjustments to be made. For the price and quality, just buy them.

Great pair of locking pliers. You can't go wrong with these at this price. Made in USA tools is a huge plus as I feel they will last longer. Used about four times already and are perfect.

I actually like these better than the original ChannelLock pliers. The jaw shape grips bolt heads a little better, and the way the jaws are positioned, they allow for a tighter grip. The only drawback is that the angle of the jaw may slightly reduce accessibility compared to the original pliers, but I think the advantages far outweigh that small quibble. They adjust quickly and easily, the handles seem sturdy (not weak or springy) and the jaws grip securely. A nice upgrade from the originals (which are still made, and still very good - a complete toolbox would have both).

I bought these because I own a pair of channel locks made in the 70s,sad to say like most made in USA Items sold today the quality is no where near what it once was, I will stick with European and Chinese made tools, American companies need to realize we don't mind paying for quality,if I want cheap made crap I can buy it for a lot less than I paid for these, days are gone that I will pay a premium for the USA Stamp

The trademark light blue handles are undoubtedly a quick way to tell that these are genuine Channellock pliers. They are made in the USA, which I generally prefer, and the price is very reasonable vs. cheaper tools from China. At any rate, I bought this set for my father, but I actually already own a pair of the 12 inch tongue and groove pliers. As far as usability, I've found the larger Griplock pliers to be my favorite. The reason is that these pliers give you substantial leverage when you need it. Whether you are tightening one of the outside drain bolts in a plumbing application, or if you've stripped the head of a phillips-head screw or rounded a bolt and you need to back the screw/bolt out by grabbing the outside surface of the screw/bolt (as you probably noticed, this has happened to me before... a couple times). I would highly recommend this set to anyone that does a fair amount of DIY projects.

Like many folks I've owned a number of pairs of "channel lock" type pliers, from Craftsman to many no-name brands. I ordered these because the price was very good, I believe $12.99 at the time. I've used them a few times now and they are easily superior to the other brands I have. The joints never slip, the teeth are very tough, and the design is great, allowing you to grip a hex-nut in the center portion of the plier. I'll probaly give away some of my other sets and just keep these. Highly recommended for the price.
