I am a mechanic professionally. These are ok for light duty (light hand pressure). They did a few small jobs over a month and did pretty good. As soon as I tried using them on a bigger 2" pipe (it probably warranted a pipe wrench but I grabbed these), I opened the jaws so I could really squeeze them and after two turns they started slipping on that same opening size. The serrated "teeth" on the tool had started to wear down. I missed the return window by 2 days so I am using these strictly for light, small needs. Pretty disappointed overall.

Seems to be well built and sturdy enough for home owner use. Will be given as gift to family member .Only ,over time and use will tell how durable it holds up to use and how well the spring clip lasts pushing the button down and sliding it ,back and forth .And whether the spring clip can replaced. And if not ,can it still be used for its intended purpose.

AzReference Groove Wrench Pliers have a great grip that doesn't let go until you want it to. Already used on several projects with fantastic success. Love the long handles which adds to the leverage. The rubber skins ( handle covers) feel good and allows my hands to keep a solid grip onto them. Adjustments is a breeze with the push of a button at the jaw. Smooth operating sliding it open or close. Whether its square, hex or round bolt head, these pliers grip it all with no stripping or slipping. Seems to be of good durable quality material ( Chromium-Vanadium Steel ).Overall, I easily recommend these AzReference Groove Pliers for its price, performance and strong grip.

These pliers were a huge help in helping me install a bidet in the bathroom. No issues and the slide lock feature is really cool. I'll be keeping these close by when doing anything around the house.

The worst channel locks I've ever owned stripped first night. Will smash ur fingers when they slip and handles smash in the button in flawed strips easy so the size teeth don't grip they slip smash your hand and won't stay tight. Anyone who says they don't suck don't work, I'm maintenance and they don't work returning them and bought a whia pair.
