This is excellent for pitting cherries 7 at a time. Then you just count the pits in the bottom and you know if you got them all. Saves a lot of time.

This does 6 cherries at once so it was easy to get thru a big pile. Occasionally, a pit would get stuck coming out but I just had to tap it to release it. We love eating cherries again!!

Overall the products does what it says it does....removes cherry pits. You definitely have to put some pressure on it to get it to work. Sometimes I felt like I might break it with the amount of pressure I was exerting....but it hasn't broken as of yet. And then you have to count the cherry pits in the bottom container to make sure they all came out....they like to kind of stay attached to the cherries by a bit of the fruit. I found that pressing down on the plunger a few times instead of just once helped some. Overall I'm happy with the purchase so far. It made pitting a lot of cherries go quicker.
