Your cart is empty. The Push Button Cherry Pitter is a simple device for cherry pitting. Screw the pitter to a canning jar (not included) and you are ready for cherry pitting fun. Place the cherry into the cradle, then push the button. The pit is popped into the jar and you are left with a pitted cherry. Quick and easy! Save time and make a chore fun! This leaves the user with free hands to handle the cherries and the plunger. The soft rubber strip under the lid carefully centers and protects the cherry as the plunger removes the pit, leaving the cherry itself, round and firm.
Can also be used for pitting or stoning olives!

Easy to use, effective, and made in the USA. Purchase my first one about 5-6 years ago, still works but was beginning to wear out so purchased a new one.

I had one of these years ago and somehow misplaced it in a move. I’ve tried several other tools, but none of them could live up to the expectations I had after using this one. So glad I found it!! (I paid about 3x more for this one than I did the first time I bought one, so I will be keeping better track of this one)

Yes...It removes the pits about six out of ten times. After pitting three bags of bing cherries, the pitter head frequenty slid off the pit leaving a hole (with a pit hiding inside)....It's worse with soft, medium-sized and smaller cherries. With larger firm cherries I had to hold the cherry with my other hand to keep it from twisting off center, The glass collection jar is nice, and the push-pin design is easy to use, but the construction is stamped-metal which bends easily.The "pit-sliding" problem could probably be reduced by using a more robust plunger wih a bigger (.i.e., wider diameter with prongs) head. I give it five stars for idea and two for construction quality.
