As soon as this set arrived, I got it put together and used it the same day with the chicks. The water bucket works very well. It was easy to assemble and holds a good amount of water. I'm excited to see how the automatic fill feature works on the water bucket. The feed bucket is more difficult for the chicks to figure out. The company did a great job of condensing the set down, so it fits in a small box. A great set for the money.Day two update: The auto fill feature of the water bucket works well. And the chicks have figured out the feed bucket and seem to love it.

Excellent chicken coop feeding and watering solution. This kit is just what you need to feed and water your chickens. the waterer float valve keeps the bucket full when connected to a water source. The water gravity feeds from the bucket to the watering nipples. The feeder allows the chickens to put their head in to get feed and the feed drops down as the chicken eats. this protects the chicken from the feed falling on the chickens head. these are to be hanged in the air to keep the rodents from getting to the feed, However rodents can jump and a determined rodent or squirrel can easily jump and gain access to the feeding ports. The lids to the food and waterer are domed to prevent the chickens from roosting on the top of them and making a mess.

The feeder and waterer were easy for me to assemble. The instructions were not much help. Photos of white parts on white parts ... But I'm not very good at following them anyway and so winging it wasn't a big deal. I was surprised to find nipple water tips enclosed as well as cups. They aren't even listed on the parts list. They come with different ways to hang. I'm just setting mine on the ground rather than hanging. My dogs even wanted to drink from it. The containers are fairly sturdy, but not as thick as say a five gallon bucket.

These are a nice addition to our coop. They were a little smaller than I thought but that’s my fault for not measuring. Still they hold plenty. The containers are not that thick so I hope they last. The lids fit snuggly which I like. The instructions are not the most helpful on the waterer but I figured it out. Comes with everything you need including chains to hang it with and the water nipples in case you don’t want the water cups. So far they are working fine.

These feeders are great for when we are on vacation. The water is especially nice since we don't have to worry about their water being knocked over or getting messy.

These are decent, but could be a bit better quality for the attachments for grain and water. It was a struggle to attach the watering nipples, and for the grain feeders, they were not the best. They do not come with the closer discs and they are not quite as nice as the standard feeder attachments out there. One did not want to work well, as the screws kept pulling out and I replaced it with one I already had. I may replace all of them. This kit comes with water level attachments as well as a short metal hose. But since I do not plan on using a hose, there is not an available plug to seal up the bucket. There are chains and hooks that I really appreciate, and also a couple of attachment choices for wall handing and handle hanging. Overall, this is an ok set, but not quite the quality I would like to have seen for the price.

Grabbed these as a supplement for my new hatch coming up. I run about 70 birds on average. Have another 70 in the incubator. If running chicks the benefit of the hanging waterer cannot be understated. After you clean out a mason jar type 3 times a day you will see the benefit. Same on the food. If you can hang them in the brooder tub it will make things much easier. Decent quality plastic and easy assembly.
