These are great planters and would receive 5 stars, except for the cheap plastic cap nuts. Save yourself the hassle and go buy metal ones immediately and use the plastic ones as covers to keep from snagging clothes. I also used zip ties to secure the planters to keep them from tipping off due to the weight of soil, and that worked great. I had no issues with welds like some people mentioned. The planters are of great quality. I don't like that they limited me to buying 3. I needed 4 so had to have a friend buy one for me. I'm sure I'll get years of use out of these.

First the packaging was horrendous. I ordered two of these that were sent in the same box with merely 2 pieces of shipping paper wrapped around them. Then I noticed that i did not have the cocoa liners that are stated to come with it. Third, I noticed on one of them the small detail of twist at the top of the spindles was not at all twisted throwing the look off. Might seem like it isn't a big deal but due to the other factors.... Then while inspecting the second trough planter I noticed they were not uniformly bent. Meaning, there was a huge gab between spindles. I am super disappointed as I was so excited to hang these on my shed outside my windows. I will be purchasing better looking planters from Lowe's. Returning right away.

These window boxes added some dimension to my bare front of house. Easy to install. Nice and deep. Lovely. Will purchase more for the rest of the windows next season!

Looked nice online but was very lightweight metal and shoddily made. It actually broke whilst attaching to the wall. I emailed the suppliers who were superb and refunded the full pruchase price without question. Arrived on time and in good condition.

I searched everything, read every review and settled on this one for rail planters. Very good call. It is very strong and well made. I ordered 2 more. However, I did not even try to use the brackets. 5 zip ties per planter does the job just great with very lttle trouble and looks better.I recommend this so I hope you like it.

The Horse Trough planters are great...nice and heavy and will hopefully hold for years. My only complaint is that I was charged shipping...and actually I ordered only 2, but received and was charged for 4 and shipping to boot...!!!! I was going to return 2 of them, but it was going to cost me $11.00 or so..so I reluctantly kept them all. The 2 would have qualified me for the free shipping...I just now ordered some Advantix Flea and Tick meds...hopefully it works out better this time. Linda
