I have used a "cold smoke" attachment on my gas grill for years. It worked fine but was frustrating how often I had to refill it with chips. I finally decided I had enough and purchased this one. The build quality is amazing! It holds enough pellets for many hours of smoking, in fact you have to watch how much you put in because you really can't reuse pellets for a second smoking. The amount of smoke is very good and adjustable. Two minor items are that the holes in the bottom of the pellet container are just a little big for standard size pellets and it really has to be disassembled after each use to clean it all out. But those are definitely not big detractors.I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up but it seems like it will last forever.

Well designed cold smoke machine for grilling and smoking. The smoker uses wood pellets to provide ample smoke blown by an electric motor. Great way to add smoke flavor without additional heat. Perfect for smoking fish or vegetables.

As big fans of smoking meats, my father-in-law and I wanted to level up our game with cold smoking, and this contraption is what we have been needing. We even built a cedar cabinet for it, but while we get that set up, I attached it to my grill, and it works wonders and makes a nice clean smoke. The stainless steel build is solid, and the large air pump produces consistent, thick smoke; it's supposed to last up to 16 hours; great for long smokes without constant refilling. The adjustable airflow makes it easy to control the smoke level, and it burns cleanly.One thing to note is that you need to use the right-sized pellets (8mm) for the best performance, and it does take a little setup to get the smoke flowing smoothly. Also, the ash catcher fills up quicker than expected, so regular maintenance and cleaning is key. This is really awesome for cold smoking, and I can't wait to try it out on salmon in our custom-built cabinet!
