I bought these to make Santa buckles. (Cut off the rounded part. Looked great but the elastic doesn't stay in place and got really lose from constantly adjusting them to be on the front on my boot. Took them off by the end of the night

This is what I was looking for it hold for a couple hours but then the strap broke so I still like hot glued it but that didn’t work for a few hours but then I just need a couple safety pins and that worked I was walking around with my therapy dog for St. Patrick’s Day

I'll give a 3 only becuase they were super cute but within 20 min they had already fallen off the shoe and were missing. Only one elastic holds it in place.

Ordered several pairs of these for our high school musical performance. Fit great over students own black dress shoes, look great on stage. Fit almost any size shoe (one student attached it to his Ortho boot) Reasonable price for costuming

I slipped it over a short black boot, its easy and looks just like a Leprachaun foot with gold buckle. I have worn them several times, good quality and holds up well. Best if your shoe has an arch so the elastic is elevated and not scraping the ground. Can't beat it for the $!

Perfect for adding to a pair of black modern loafers to change the look to something you would see a Leprechaun wearing. I plan on doing just that to wear as part of a costume for St. Patty's day. They have an elastic band to help hold them in place. I think this is supposed to go around your foot first before you put your shoes on. Or in my case, my loafers have a tongue and I will be able to secure these to that with the elastic band. I may use a piece of duct tape rolled up to help stick these to my shoes in case. I don't want to use a glue.If you have laces the black part of this will likely be able to be secured by unlacing and lacing back up grabbing the elastic band, and this would cover your laces.For the money, for what these do to change a plain pair of black shoes, I definitely recommend them.Rob

These worked great! Certainly not historically accurate but worked great for my Alexander Hamilton costume for a Halloween party. I managed to get the elastic inside my black running shoe with buckles outside. Can't imagine they'd hold up if you tried to put elastic outside. Well worth the price. Really made entire costume look good.
