This is a new type of product for me, a bit of a fruit jam that is marketed primarily as a beverage mix in, but could also be added to yogurt, etc. It is sweet, but has a nice fruit flavor from the citron. There are peels in this product, which makes it feel not too overpreocessed. Since you can add it to water or tea, it is easy to adjust the taste.

I’ve loved drinking citron tea for years but almost every mix has honey and I was looking for a vegan alternative. This one has no honey, only sugar.

On a recent trip to Japan on a rainy afternoon, I stopped into a restaurant to find something warm to drink and discovered yuzu tea. Yum!! High citrus flavor with subtle notes of tangerine that warm you from inside out. I was hooked. On returning home, I found the yuzu marmalade tea on Amazon and it's just like being back in that tea shop on a rainy Fall day. I'm considering mixing it with fresh ginger slices for extra warmth and that occasional winter cold.
