The only thing that could have been better would have been the fuse box cable end. It did not match the original and the cover had to be modified to cover it. Everything else was 100% top quality and larger/heavier than original.

This is a good kit, it's complete, and has all the cables that need to be replaced for a 2004 24V Cummins. Be aware that modification may be necessary. For the 2004 model, I had to cut the end off of the old lead that connects to the TIPM and reuse the terminal, this required cutting off the end of the new cable and soldering a section of old cable on to it. This is required because the new lead has a 90 degree connector on it but it is not elongated like the old lead. You can use the new lead, but then you have to figure out a way to cover the lug on the TIPM. For me it was easier to use a section of old lead so that the factory cover could be reused. Another modification that must be made is on the passenger side. There are two solenoids that are mounted to the battery tray, the eyelets on these are too small to fit on the terminal bolt, the easiest solution is to just split them and pry open a little bit. I chose to do it the hard way and had some old #2 cable around and I made new leads that go to the solenoids. Other than that, everything is here in the kit and for the most part it is a drop in solution.

Wow, was I impressed when I opened this up. This is the most legit and solid kit I have ever seen all in one place and ready to go. The wires are super high quality, perfect crimps, adhesive sealed shrink wrap, split loomed up and labeled to make it easy. If you have an older truck like mine, the comparison to the factory cables makes them look like a pathetic joke. I have the 5.9 cummins with the idiotic Dodge factory design of charging one battery and reading the voltage off another, which leads to boiled and exploded batteries when the cross over cable goes bad. My cross over cable was corroded and I decided if that was bad, all my cables were probably not great. I bought this kit to replace all of my cables and I wish I did it years ago. Military clamps are the only way to go FYI and if you have used them, you will apprecaite it. The OEM cables are a cheap manufacturing solution that will cause problems down the road so don't just by cables from Doge, buy this kit it is that much better. And from my perspective, I have made and crimped cables my whole life, but I'll never do as nice a job as these guys. I could not be happier.

All of the cables are nice quality. They are all labeled to make install easier. All the cables are the proper length aswell. *Note this kit does not include the alternator power cable. I did need that cable but ended up just making one myself.

Geno’s kits were back ordered so I got these for my 3rd gen. Instructions were clear for the most part, cables were all labeled, and everything fit together. On the starter wire, the best way is to remove the inner fender and tire and reach in from there. See pic.Truck cranks really strong now and voltage seems good. Happy with this kit.

My 05 Cummins has 260k miles on it so needless to say the cables were getting older and causing some issues. I bought this cable kit and was surprised with the quality. Everything hooked up as needed and it really just cleans up the engine bay. Thanks!

The price was a tough pill to swallow, but these are actually VERY nice...and after the fact, I don't feel too bad about the cost. You could probably piece everything together by purchasing bits through McMaster...but you'd still spend quite a bit, and it's probably not worth the waste of time. That being said...it's nice that these ARE made of standard cable parts...so if you need to repair or replace, it should be very easy to do. The battery terminals themselves are nice and stout, but also standard....2 broken OEM terminals is what prompted my replacement in the first place. I did put new batteries and a new starter in at the same time...but the truck cranks super fast now!
