Love the quietness of this fan. I've had many other fans but this is the quietest. A little difficult to put together--needs at least 2 people but once you have that second pair of hands, it's not so bad. Also like the remote.

Love everything about the fan. the different modes, speed and timer works great! My only complaint is that it's advertised as 18 inches.. but I only got a 16. other than that, woulda been a 5star for me

This is my third Castaway fan as I have worn out two. It is the perfect fan for cool and for that all important white noise at night for sleep. I like that the red LEDs go off after about five minutes which is great for a darker room at night

The spinner knob is THREADED BACKWARDS! So turn it right to get it off. There is a ‘guard’ in the middle of the back circle to take off and there is a ‘guard’ to pull off of the ‘shaft’ so that the fan blade can meet up with the ‘stopper pin’. I used clothespins and scotch tape to help me get the halves together by myself. LOL other than the challenging puzzle of putting it together, the fan itself is great!

I've bought two of these fans and am very satisfied. The fan is comparatively quiet, offers several speeds, can be height-adjusted, and I love the remote! Highly recommend for both value and cost.

This is an awsome fan. What is very hard is getting the front guard on, it takes 5 hands. This is the second one I have bought. I learned the first time to use a small piece of electrical tape to aling the front with the back. This way you can use the plastic rim to put on to really hold them together.

Easy assembly, very quiet, nice remote. I just wish when the fan is shut off is kept the last settings. That way when you turn the fan back it s on the last last setting from when you turned it off.
