Fits 79 CJ at least. Here is the order to assemble. Remove two bolts from tub to drop the crank support and bell crank. Remove and discard old parts. Install rubber boots over support balls. Then white caps over the balls. Insert the white cap into bell crank and push the boot up far enough so that the channel for the spring clip is visible and insert the clip into the channel. Pull the boot down to cover the clip. Repeat for other side and then re-bolt the crank support to the tub.

I had one of the plastic 'cups' totally blow out on my 84 CJ7 and this was exaclty what I needed to replace all of the clutch linkage parts. It was great to have this full set of parts, and I replaced all that came in the kit - the other plastic cup that I thought was good, also had a crack - I'm back on the road, clutch operation great! Quick shipping and solid price - cannot be beat.

Perfect fit for my 74’ Jeep J20, have also done in a couple other FSJ’s. Ik it does work on the CJ’s too. This past one I replaced seemed to of only lasted about 4 years before the bushings were toast but I’ve put some good miles on the truck so for $12 or so and like 15 mins to change out its still a good deal

Good product. Works exactly as described. Only complaint (minor) is that the clips aren’t OEM replica and seem a little “under” engineered. Even still, I believe they will work for a long time.

I used these parts to rebuild a 1984 CJ7 bell crank that had worn out plastic bushings and boots. It installed very easy and is now very smooth and full of grease.
